This is Annabelle, her muffled cries were heard from the open field, behind a home owners house, in South Texas. He went to find the dog, in hopes of giving her assistance, but upon finding her in the situation she was in, was unable to. He contacted the police, who with the fire department, went out to asses the situation. They had to carry her, with her head still stuck, to a better, more lighted location to work in. The muffler pipe was too tight, requiring the fire department to use the jaws of life to carefully, and meticulously with great care, cut the pipe off from around her head and neck area. One of the police officers was so kind, he bought her a happy meal ♥️ she would not initially eat due to the trauma. She is safely with a foster for the weekend, and will be traveling to us this coming Monday, then ultimately going to her rescue in Connecticut. Thank you Where the Love Is Rescue, Inc. For taking on this sweet girl, and giving her the chance at a new life! And a HUGE thanks to the Hidalgo County Sheriffs Office for their amazing work saving this precious girl!!! Please share, and please consider donating to the rescue, any amount is graciously appreciated! 🐾♥️🚔🚒 ***(More photos in comments)***

When you’ve exceeded the weight limit🤦🏻♀️
This is just one day in the life of rescue… thankfully all of these have been spoken for, and will be making their way to their respective rescues. But have no fear, as 1 kennel or 10 kennels, is vacated, there are twice that many on deck waiting to come ♥️ I do not ask for monetary donations for my kennels, because I am not a non- profit. I did however, make an Amazon wish list, with lots of great (and very helpful) items for all the dogs. No pressure, I will just place the link here, and share it from time to time. Thank you in advance for any and all help you send our way. Our gratitude is endless!🐶 (sharing is a huge help as well!😊)

This is Simon💔 he has what we think is “crate foot”. This comes from spending the majority of his life, cramped in a too small crate. He has sores all over his body indicating that a crate was his main existence. I didn’t go to the shelter to get him, but when I saw him, I couldn’t leave without him. He broke my heart and I had to fight back the tears. Who does this to an innocent animal?? I’m so sickened by the behavior of humans. He was dumped at the front door of the child protective services building, in downtown Killeen. Thankfully, someone went in to work that weekend (he was left on a Friday) and called animal control. Otherwise, he would have been in that crate until Monday. And even after all of this... he is the sweetest, most loving boy! He gets along with every dog he’s come into contact with, he has literally been starving for food and starving for some well deserved love & attention, which he will never have a shortage of again. Unfortunately, he is heartworm positive, but we will begin his treatment ASAP, and get him healthy again. I will continue to update during his progress. (More pictures in comments).
⭐️⭐️Simon does not have any rescue backing, if you are a rescue, or know of one that would be interested in backing and supporting this very deserving boy, please let me know, thank you!!⭐️⭐️
