Here we go… hoarding house, many dogs seized, I’m not sure of the exact number, some were dumped on the street, some ended up at another shelter and some at the Killeen shelter. Thanks to Where the Love Is Rescue, Inc., for stepping up, we saved a mama dog and her 8 puppies, what we thought was another mama and 2 puppies, turned out to be mama and 6 of her own plus 2 orphans!😭 She has taken them in, and is caring for them, as if they are her own🥰 please consider donating to the rescue, A LOT, goes into caring for them, medical and transportation. Any amount is always appreciated and means so much, thank you!🐾❤️🐾❤️

This is Maddie… she lived 8 years on this chain, was used for breeding, and as a bait dog. My amazing friend Erica, managed to get her away from the horrible people keeping her captive. She has had her since the end of September, nursing her back to health. She has come a loooong way, but still has much healing to do. She arrived in Killeen today, and is here in boarding with me. Police4Pets, Killeen has taken her into the rescue, and we would love to find a foster for this sweet, deserving soul. Please contact myself or P4P if you’re interested, or have any questions. Some days I have no words for humans, this is the same dog. Thankfully, Police4Pets, Killeen has taken him in! He’s super sweet, quiet, friendly with other dogs… so many great qualities and this is how someone treated him.💔 also, props to Damaris who always comes through for a great groom!✂️🧴❤️

This is a story about rescue, and how multifaceted it truly is.💎After being contacted by the amazing Amanda Dalia, about a sweet bully girl that had been in labor for virtually the entire day, we all got to work. We contacted Gabrielle Scirocco from Where the Love Is Rescue, Inc. who graciously said yes! Take her to the emergency after hours vet now! Gabe’s rescue covered her emergency C-section surgery, but unfortunately her baby did not make it. Desiree Gonzalez jumped in her car (late at night) went to pick her up, and took her to the vet, then fostered Bridget (FKA Beauty), for several weeks. When Bridget was healthy enough to travel, we put her on Jaimie’s phenomenal ”Bare Bus” transport to me. She was seen by our vet here, and given the seal of healthy approval❤️🐾 My sweet friends and co-rescue partners, Tanya Lawson & Stephanie Martinez, agreed that we would try to find a permanent home for her here. And might I say, the girl has hit the jackpot!! My thanks go out to so many, rescue is not a one-man mission!! ❤️🐾

8 little babies, found abandoned under a house in Alamo, Texas, mom no where in sight. They are malnourished, covered in fleas and dehydrated. Thankfully the finder has reached out for help, Jess Mar and Erica Lerma were able to load them up, late, a couple nights ago, and rush them to the vet in Mexico. Where the Love Is Rescue, Inc. has stepped up to take all 8, into their rescue. Sadly, one of them is not doing well, they have all been released except for the one who is getting a blood transfusion. (see video in comments). we are asking for any amount of donation, to help assist in the vet bills, for all eight of these puppies, everything and anything is always greatly appreciated! ❤️🐾

Scruffy is on a trial adoption! 🥳

I've been hoping this sweet, handsome boy would find a loving home and it sure looks like he's hit the jackpot! Scruffy was SO happy to see the kids who were also super happy and surprised to see him because they didn't know he was coming to join their family! We very much hope he settles into the good life and adjusts well to living in a home after spending far too much of his puppyhood displaced. 🏡

Scruffy was so lucky to be pulled from the Killeen shelter by Red Barn Kennel/Ilana Britten who's cared for him and advocated for him since taking him in last May. We offered to help by taking him on a few outings to grab some adorable pictures, get to know his personality and show him off on social media. It really does take everyone working together to help these amazing dogs find great homes. Scruffy's such a good boy and more than ready to enjoy the rest of his life sleeping on a comfy couch and snuggling with his peeps. We'll check back in a few days to make sure he's settling in well and a great fit for this wonderful family. Keep him in your prayers! 🐾🙏🐾

This is Annabelle, her muffled cries were heard from the open field, behind a home owners house, in South Texas. He went to find the dog, in hopes of giving her assistance, but upon finding her in the situation she was in, was unable to. He contacted the police, who with the fire department, went out to asses the situation. They had to carry her, with her head still stuck, to a better, more lighted location to work in. The muffler pipe was too tight, requiring the fire department to use the jaws of life to carefully, and meticulously with great care, cut the pipe off from around her head and neck area. One of the police officers was so kind, he bought her a happy meal ♥️ she would not initially eat due to the trauma. She is safely with a foster for the weekend, and will be traveling to us this coming Monday, then ultimately going to her rescue in Connecticut. Thank you Where the Love Is Rescue, Inc. For taking on this sweet girl, and giving her the chance at a new life! And a HUGE thanks to the Hidalgo County Sheriffs Office for their amazing work saving this precious girl!!! We were dumped in a crate, 8 of us, crammed in and left behind by the people we knew and trusted. Unfortunately, 4 of us were given away, even though a rescue stepped up to save us. Thankfully, From Alone To Home Rescue will be taking the rest of us, and we are so happy to be moving to Massachusetts! ♥️🐾

If you had any dealings with Rebecca Halbach, know of anyone that did, saw her name written on the bathroom wall, or in any capacity, please SHARE! And if you have any further information to share with the detective on this case, please email him, (his email is in the first picture). Lynn has been working diligently with him, providing as much information as she can, from anyone that has sent her any proof of their dealings with Rebecca, monies owed, etc.. Nothing can un-break our hearts, nothing will ever change what she did, or bring back our precious babies, but this is our chance for retribution, please don’t let it pass by. Today, I was contacted by Sgt. Moore, of the Killeen Police Dept, who was previously in charge of the homeless outreach program. Thankfully, he is still in the mindset of helping people, that truly need it. Cheryl lost her home in May, and has been living in her truck with her 5 dogs. Sgt. Moore stopped to chat with her today, in the parking lot of Advent Hospital. You see, Cheryl is having a hard time coping, and was in need of some medical assistance. As is the case, in many circumstances, people are not willing to give up their pets (I completely understand this). Going to the shelter was not an option, as she would have had to of paid fees to get them back. So at this time, Parker, Bebe, Sheba, Roscoe and Lil’ Dude are here with me. After speaking with Tanya & Stephanie, we agreed that we would all like to help Cheryl, and will be asking for donations under our Police4Pets, Killeen rescue. Please consider sending a few dollars and/or sharing to help this sweet lady, who literally cooks for her dogs, even in the most dire of times. Thank you!!♥️🐾

**Update on Yoli, our Cardigan Corgi who’s mom had to surrender her baby to the shelter, due to her upcoming heart surgery. Thankfully Pattie, Our Best Friends Rescue, let me tag her to get her out of the shelter ASAP. Upon hearing the back story, Tanya, Stephanie and I Police4Pets, Killeen, decided we wanted to try to save her here, for her mom, once she is able to care for her again. Pattie, of course agreed, because we know the pets well being comes first!💕 She is doing ok in boarding, we go on walks, she enjoys the outside in small stints, but prefers her safe space inside on her bed. My amazing friend Brandy and her son, Morgan, (and husband Shawn!)have stepped up, and offered to foster her!!! Without such a generous offer, we couldn’t offer Yoli such a great home environment, which is best for her. We will keep you updated!🥰♥️🐾

These 2 girls, one EXTRA pregnant, the other, almost completely hairless, were found in a dumpster. Someone knowingly PUT THEM IN THE TRASH, so they could be crushed to death by the trash compactor. I’m so sickened by humans, it’s distressing and emotional, but they have no one, if we don’t help. The mama to be, is heartworm positive, which means all her babies will be born heartworm positive as well. Thankfully Where the Love Is Rescue, Inc. has stepped up and taken these precious, lost little souls, into their rescue. They will stay here with us, until they are healthy enough to travel. Please consider donating a few dollars to help with all the upcoming vetting, everything helps, and is greatly appreciated!🐾♥️
