Shadow is a 9 year old Black Lab mix who has had a tough run of luck, but he hasn't let it affect his loving personality.
He has spent time in another shelter since last August, and after arriving at Northern Neck Partners for Pets, he's shown us that all he wants is to be loved. ❤️ Forget toys... this boy's favorite activity is spending time with his people looking up at you with the deepest affection, just waiting for a good, long petting session. At age 9, he is already house-trained, knows how to relax, and will be a calm, easygoing companion.
This wonderful boy is encroaching on his senior years, and it’s sad that he hasn't found his spot on a sofa yet. He deserves to spend the rest of his life as a cherished family member, receiving the love he offers so freely. Please come meet this handsome boy during our adoption hours.

Frolic is a one year old sweetheart. She is affectionate and savors attention and petting. Frolic is in search of her human lovematch. She has a delightful temperament and is used to coexisting well with other kitties. Frolic has been spayed through the generosity of Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck Just picture this lovely face greeting you each day!

Lexie is a gorgeous 2 year old Domestic Medium Hair feline with a very clear wish: to be your one and only pet. 💕 This beautiful girl adores people, thrives on affection, and is ready to be the sole center of attention in her forever home!
To help her gentle nature shine, Lexie is looking for a quiet, calm household. Lexie does not show very well at the shelter, as she can get a bit overstimulated with the other resident cats, but will appreciate the opportunity to have a home of her own.

Beau is an older gentleman who is desperately searching for a forever home in which he can live out the rest of his years. He is very sweet and relaxed both in his kennel and outside of it. He walks perfectly on a leash and does well in the car. Throughout the day, he is quiet, but does bark excitedly at feeding time. 😊
Beau was surrendered to us to no fault of his own. He came in with another dog with whom he got along well, but the owner said he tends to be dog selective. Beau does love being the center of attention, though, and due to his old age, he may be best as an only dog.
Beau is estimated to be about 11 years old, and is hard of hearing. He also has food allergies. A new diet has him looking and feeling better.
Despite his age trying to slow him down, Beau is still a happy-go-lucky guy who keeps us smiling. He is full of personality and has such a gentle soul. We would love to see him find a home with someone who adores him as much as we do! ❤️ Please visit tomorrow between 11 and 3 at Northern Neck Partners for Pets in Lancaster, Virginia.
