Finally got paroled and I’m out of quarantine. I did two months of solitary confinement. I pled not guilty but the doc said otherwise. She found me guilty of heart worms and sentenced me to two months of injections and confinement.

Here I am recovering from my first dose of heartworm treatment. When my mama adopted me in September, I had a negative heartworm test, but tested positive six months later. Thankfully, she has had me on heartworm preventative since September and I had a very low count of heart worms detected. My first treatment was yesterday and I am now home resting quietly. My mama let me sleep in the bedroom last night, but will keep me kenneled during the day. 🐾
