Peppy SanFritzco 1997 stallion (photo taken 3 years ago). We have had some mighty fine babies by him with our Lucky Blanton mares. We have known for the last year or so that the time was coming to put him down. It is always a tough call when to put down an animal in your care. Well today ole Fritz saved us from having to make that decision. Fed him his grain about 8:30 am, went to haul hay and not home till 1:30pm and he was gone. Bless him. Our old mare Song went around the corral nickering for him after we took him out to bury... she will miss him.

SJQC Frosty Blanton only settled one mare last year. After checking him out, it was decided that he was gun shy and had acquired some bad habits. May have to hand breed some of the mares this year but so happy to look forward to some more Frosty babies.

We said goodbye to Kwik Cat Blanton Sunday. We decided we could not put her through the coming days of negative degree weather.

We said goodbye to SHS Hesa Wily last Friday. He will stand at XN Horses in Stephenville, TX. Very hard to sell him but hopefully he will be as great of an asset to Pat Benner as he was to us. We have a few of his daughters and they are awesome producers, so he lives on here. Thanks Pat and we wish you the best. Roger and Jo Timmerman
