First up, our very own
Pinkie Cherrie, Pinkie was born with an abnormality with her front right leg being underdeveloped. As soon as she was born Lois said “ she is not going anywhere”. Pinkie will become Lois’s sidekick.

Lois and I just want to say thank you for the abundance of love and prayers showed to us and our Cassie. We just can’t thank you enough. ❤️💕🥰😍
In speaking to the Dr this morning. Cassie is doing much better, her temperature and vitale have continued to come back into a normal range and the Dr does is not concerned about the pancreatitis and feel this will continue to get better with days.
Cassie is eating ( boiled chicken) and excepting it. She is more lively but not completely back to herself yet.
Dr Blankenship actually said she could be released today if we wanted to get her back to her puppies. Which we do so badly. BUT Lois and I wanted to do everything to avoid another backslide. We have chose to let Cassie stay in the hospital another day and revisit her progress tonight and tomorrow morning. ❤️❤️❤️
AGAIN, we thank everyone for their support and prayers 🥰🥰

ALSO, Cassie’s puppies are ALL doing great. Lois and I have taken over nursing responsibilities and are bottle feeding all 8.
All have showed weight gain each morning and have been great in excepting the bottle.

Introducing “Sammies Gems”

All 5 are males.
I do believe we have 3 shaded creams,
1 ee cream and 1 black n cream.

Sammie done such a great job, her labor started around 7 pm August 31st, first puppy was born at 8:50 pm and last puppy was born on September 1st at 12:04 am
So proud of her.

This is a CKC registered litter, all are long hair and are all on hold currently while we monitor the growth and health. We normally do this for 2 weeks.

UPDATE!!!!
First we want to thank everyone for all the prayers, concerns, messages etc. please continue to prayer for our Miss Cass as she continues to fight this illness to get back to her pups.

We heard from the hospital this morning, Cassie is doing better and did eat a little chicken overnight into this morning. Her Temperature has come back to normal range from the 104.7 it was at when I got her to the hospital last night.
The are treating for Metritis with IV fluids and antibiotics but are also giving her pain meds and nausea medicine as she also has a case of pancreatitis. We are hoping the have caught this early and our girl can get home to her pups. Yesterday was crushing as we got her home and for 6 hours she just fussed to be with them but we couldn’t reintroduce her til evening because of the meds she was on and allowing it to work out of her system. We felt so bad cause she just wanted to be with them. And unfortunately she never did get to rejoin with them as by 6:30 pm she began her downward spiral. We felt so bad to have given her that hope just to take it away😭

Her babies are doing great, Lois and I are Tag teaming every 2-3 hours in bottle feeding. They are all eating well and have gained weight every day since we started.
So until we get Momma back to her kids we will continue stepping up to keep them on pace.

Poor Cassie came home today and this evening we checked her temperature and was very high. She is on her way to Kanawha Valley Emergency Veterinary Hospital, she will be there all weekend

UPDATE on Cassie!!!
We just talked to our Veterinarian Team. She is still not eating very well but this could be because she is not at home. She is up this morning and moving around acting like she wants out of her kennel. Much more spry and alert.
Dr Matt feels she can come home today. 🎉🎊❤️ He would like to get her back to nursing her puppies sooner than later but her health comes first. So we will learn more about that when we go pick her up.
Foster Mom and Dad took care of her puppies yesterday and at their weigh in this morning ALL gained weight extremely well and are doing great. (Note to self, have p*e pads handy from now on😂😂🤣)

But we know she is not out of the woods yet

ANY REPUTABLE BREEDER WOULD NEVER GO ONTO ANOTHER BREEDERS PAGE AND DO THIS.

Please keep our Cassie in your prayers, she has become ill after her pregnancy and is in our Veterinary Teams hands for the next several days. We’re very confident leaving her with them, they are incredibly caring and professional.
Lois and I will become mom and take care of her puppies.
Cassie’s health is of most importance so we need to step up for her.

Let us introduce Miss Cassie’s litter- KNOWN AFFECTIONATELY AS “TLCs Ice Cream Crew”
Moose, Snickers, Rocky, Brownie and Peanut 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢 and Cherrie, Coco and Cookie 💕💕💕
All weighed between 6.6 - 7.5 ounces at birth. And are ALL ee creams. This is such a beautiful litter.
We are extremely proud of our Cassie. For her first litter she done an exceptional job. And is becoming a loving and nurturing mother.
AT THE MOMENT ALL ARE ON HOLD.
We will always take at least 2 weeks to monitor puppies health and growth but with Cassie being a short hair and Simon a long hair we will need an extra 1 or 2 weeks to determine coat length. Cassie does carry for LH so there is an opportunity for both short and Long. We have a couple members waiting on this litter if you have an interest please Message us.
As Lois and I enjoy sharing this beautiful breed we also want to be transparent and honest as possible with everyone as well. Cassie done great and we are so very proud of her. But unfortunately one of her little girls was born with a deformity. Above we included a couple pictures of her. Our sweet “Pinkie Cherrie”, named affectionately by Lois. Pinkie has one front leg that is just not fully developed. Her other front leg is fine. And otherwise is a healthy little girl. She was actually the second biggest born at 7.05 oz and is already up to 7.45 this evening. Lois noticed straight away the abnormality and immediately ( I mean less than 10 seconds) claimed her as her own. So Pinkie will be staying with us.
Thank you Robin for all the knowledge you have provided us. We are so grateful.

Our Sammie went to the vets today, didn’t want bothered with it. Ran from everyone. Lol, but she did get some pictures taken. It seems she has 5 puppies for sure, possibly a 6th
