Yes we’re still using blankets and towels to create islands of safety from the lava floor. Hank is making progress, it’s slow but there is progress. We are patient. We’re hoping to help find him a friend or family that can also be very patient.

I stumbled across this a few weeks ago and it was a great walk!

‘Little League Trail’ is now open to the public during normal park hours. Visitors can walk the trail, enjoy the scenic landscape, and stop and enjoy picnic facilities along the way.

Just picked up Chico from Smoky’s where he got neutered this morning. Chico is about 8mo old and looking for his forever people. Ring Dog Rescue pulled this puppy out of the shelter and has completely funded 3 weeks of training with us. His first week will be slow and boring because he needs to heal and the vet just told us at least 2 weeks before he can play with the other dogs so we won’t have a complete evaluation on his social skills till then but we are so excited to show him what life is like in a good home!
