Scheduling lessons just got a little easier! If you’re interested in either a private lesson or small group ride, you can use the links below to schedule! Private lessons are $55 per hour. Group riding lessons are $45 per 1.5 hours and you’ll share your riding window with others.

With the chances of all of the slush re-freezing tonight, we will not have teen homeschool group tomorrow (Tuesday 1/7). We will aim for next week!

There will not be homeschool group this morning - we want to give the roads some time to clear! It looks like Stokes county may be worse than Winston - I’m not sure how 52 looks but we are using caution! Everyone be safe!

Now we are ready to celebrate Corbinn! It’s her 9th birthday and she got SNOW. What a great gift! ❄️

This morning’s sunrise trail ride was AMAZING. It was cold but it was well worth it. To have done so much and hung out with the best ponies all before the sun was up - was the best. ☀️🐴

Thank you to our trail riders! Thank you to the sun for showing up! January is off to a great start! We will see y’all next Saturday morning!

We have two openings for pasture board - can be for either Mare or Gelding. If you are or know someone who is looking for pasture boarding options, we would love to offer up a tour!

Pasture Board provides:
-Small herd placement
-Automatic waterers
-Covered shelters in each pasture
-Pasture rotation
-Grain feeds twice per day
-Owners live on site
-Use of facilities: Round pen, outdoor arena, indoor arena, obstacle course pasture, onsite trails
-Large Tack area/barn

Keep Cookie girl in your prayers! She had a little incident yesterday - she seems to be doing really good but we are not all the way to the point of knowing for sure! Her mobility is good, no heat, no fever (all of which are great signs) - send her all the positive vibes! 💚💚💚💚💚

Here is our upcoming availability - these lessons are available to new and current riders (novice and experienced levels welcome). Lesson horses provided, all tack and helmets on site.

2025!

On this last day of 2024 - we are reflecting here at the farm. We are so appreciative of everyone who entrusts us with their horse’s care, puts in the work towards new and continued lessons and learning, all of our groups (lessons and homeschool) and those who provide aid and assistance to the facility (hay, feed, veterinary care, help at the barns, events - all of the things!)😎

We are so proud of the Soak Creek family. You all contribute to this dream in some way and are all a very important piece of this farm. ☀️

We can say with the most confidence that the people of Soak Creek, show up & turn up, with out fail, EVERY time. This family is a chosen one and we are so lucky to have yall - thank you for choosing us!

2025 is going to be amazing year! 🎊🎉

New barn, new programs, new friends & family, continuing the dream with the people who have helped build it - we are EXCITED.

We are proud to bring you:

Soak Creek Guided Trail Rides at Sun-Rise ☀️

Join us at the farm early, each Saturday in January, February & March, and experience the barns like never before. Each session will provide limited space for (7) riders. Each rider will be assigned a horse, will tack up and hit the trails at sun-rise, enjoying the beauty of winter, horseback.

-We will provide each rider with a Horse & Tack
-Each rider can enjoy morning coffee, fireside, before the ride
-Enjoy wooded trails to include creek crossing and natural obstacles
-Head back to the barn and enjoy a Cowboy breakfast to fuel you the rest of the day!

Cost: $100 per rider

Choose your date:

-Saturday January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th (7-10am)
-Saturday February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd (7-10am)
-Saturday March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th (7-10am)

The babies are growing! Phoebe & Phoenix are learning ground manners and how to respect a stop. They’re both beautiful and we love watching them grow! 🥰
