Garden joys ☺️

The outdoor plants aren’t even missing a beat in this heat. However, it’s getting a bit too hot for outdoor markets. If you’ve wondered where our June calendar is at, that’s why. You’ll be able to catch us at the Lake Havasu Farmers Market on the 22nd (indoor). However, we will likely be taking a step back from outdoor markets until we get some cooler temps. We always have beautiful houseplants available at and if you have your eye on something in particular we can deliver. You can also shop our in home plant room by appointment 😌

Get those last veggie starts in the ground for the season!

For old times sake, I'm having a driveway plant sale tomorrow (05/24) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. 😁

2458 Miami Ave

Yes, I know the wind will be insane tomorrow. 😒
However, I'll be set up on the north side of the house, where a lot of the wind will be blocked.

The downtown streets are finally open! Beale street is back in business baby (technically it has been this whole time, but, ya know).

There will be no market for us this weekend, so show the Eclectic Quail some love instead! We are pretty well stocked in there right now!

I planted a whole new batch of Mirabilis multiflora (Colorado Four O’clock) seeds this morning, hoping for a successful crop this Summer! This is one of my favorite arid land ground covers, it blossoms and thrives in both Spring and Fall, storing water in an underground tuber, dying back in the cold of winter and waking up in early Spring. The flowers open early in the evening, supporting pollinators like bees and sphinx moths before closing up again in the late morning as the sun moves towards its zenith. They help increase the organic matter of your soil while simultaneously cooling it, acting as a living mulch.
They look gorgeous when contrasted with other hardy desert perennials and shrubs like Apricot Globemallow, Parry’s Penstemon, Desert Marigolds and Feathery Cassia.

Hi everyone! Unfortunately we had to leave the Cinco de Mayo event early today due to the relentless wind. We tried to stick it out as long as we could, but ultimately we have to protect the plants ☹️

If you are still looking to do some plant shopping send me a message! We can always deliver locally or you can stop by our in house plant room, or at Eclectic Quail!

One of the best compliments we can receive is how unique our plants are. One of our goals is to carry beautiful plants that are unique, different, funky, etc. We strive to carry plants you can’t find anywhere else in the area! Bonus points if they look like they’re from another planet! 🤣👽

Did you know Tranquilo Farms is so much more than just houseplants? We also offer small batches of organically grown herbs such as calendula! There is just as much going on here outside as there is in our indoor houseplant grow room. Feel free to contact us if there is ever anything non houseplant related you are looking for!
