Manzanita Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our hard working, energetic, caring and fun loving team. Our practice is comprised of dogs, cats, and occasional farm animals.
The right candidate will need exceptional people and customer service skills, a sense of humor and super-natural ability to draw blood and set IV catherters. Duties will include all aspects of patient care and client relations including: exam room assistance, surgery and anesthesia preparation and assistance, taking x-rays, and running lab test. Strong attention to detail, hospital hygiene, house-keeping, interpersonal and organizational skills are a must.
We work Monday-Thursday and respond to after hours emergency calls. Sharing in our “on call” rotation to cover these emergencies on some weekends and some week nights will be required. As such, living within 15-20 minutes of the hospital is needed.
