February is Feline Fix by Five awareness month! We’re helping to spread the word about the best time to spay and neuter kittens – BEFORE five months of age! Kittens can be safely spayed or neutered once they are two months (or once they weigh two pounds). February is SVC's annual spay and neuter month, where we are offering discounts on all spays and neuters.

Everyone loves kittens, but they're a huge responsibility. Many end up unwanted or unable to be cared for. They often end up out on the streets, where their lives are cut short by predators and sickness. Spaying/neutering helps to prevent this needless suffering.
