No mallets to bang the boot on, no hoof picks to lever straps into place - no force required! Your hoof boots should slip on smoothly, and allow you to easily slide the heel captivators up and into place.
If you find the captivator is tight when pulling over the heel bulbs, or you have excess wire and strap once done up, you may need to adjust the cables.

When the boot is installed on the hoof, and with the toe strap properly tensioned, the preferred amount of strap extending past the black rubber keep loop is from 1/2” to 1”
