For those if you don’t know Me , my name is Shannon Mullen I’m the owner of Music Mountain Mniatures and Great Pyrenees dogs . I have registered Dexter cattle, My first Registered Dexter calf will be born in 2024. I raise registered Nubian goats that have excellent milk lines, Registered Goat babies coming in March 2023 . My proudest ❤️ ❤️are my Great Pyrenees dogs that I raise.
I’m somebody who has pride in the animals that I raise and in the standards that they should be for their breed.
Lets talk Great Pyrenees;
So I just wanted to share some breeds standards for the Great Pyrenees dogs.
Per the breed standard, great Pyrenees have two dewclaws on their rear feet. While it is possible to see Great Pyrenees, with one dewclaw… yes and it’s even possible to have puppies that have one dewclaw on one leg and two dewclaws on the other, and they are still considered full bred .
Not all Great Pyrenees are all white actually, the breed standard is to have some markings on their body as of old, where the marks of great Pyrenees help them blend among the rocks when we protecting their flock from predators.
Blaireau is a French word meaning badger: these puppies are about as rare as the excessive black wherein the typical litter they have only one or two full Blaireau present on average.
In the last three litters, which I’ve noticed, because I have a new stud dog, Cleo, he is throwing this rare gene.
I love the rare color of the full Blaireau, the color does fade with the puppies are about 6 to 8 months old when they go mostly white.
Look for pictures and updates on puppies arriving in January 2023 from Rose and Cleo ❤️❤️❤️
