Jacob

Jacob at play, the smaller brown dog with black muzzle, playing last weekend with some of the others in the early morning cool weather at HALT. Jacob is a unclaimed stray who really knows how to enjoy life! What a nice addition he will be when he finds his furever home!

Adopted !Stray hold up possibly this weekend. doxie! Mr Personality himself. Hopefully all vetting done by weekend. Likes dogs, people, and snacks plus to be near and dear to someone

KEME

On biscuit patrol yesterday and testing the likeability of different biscuit brands. Keme offered to volunteer for this and you can figure out his opinion from this video clip. (We brought the donated Old Roy brand to the outside kennels.) Keme is a young shep mix brought in as a stray, never claimed. Sweet, quiet and notices everything going on here.

Patrick

Ok this volunteer is officially in love with Patrick. A young long tailed floppy eared Dane blend. Once you know him, you will too. He seems to love us ladies right away and is cautious of men and will bark at them until he is comfortable with them. We rescued this big boy from another type of shelter before his time was up there. If dogs could talk, he probably has a very interesting story to tell as to why he acts as he does.

Oh my Lexi really was excited to see extra visitors today. She would love a friendly volunteer to walk around the sanctuary with and chase a ball. She is a dalmatian blend, about 3.5 years old. What a cutie!

Awe Keme in a cone, just got his neuter. Still wagging and sweet though! He got extra treats. This guy is about 3 and found as a stray. HALT 928 692 8940

Agnes !

Pupdate UPDATE ! oUR SWEETIE aGNES IS NOW ADOPTED JUST IN TIME FOR cHRISTMAS <3 Agnes... she was a stray from a shelter surrendered to us. Poor thing had a rough life on the streets, she had bite marks and needed suturing. We also had her spayed. 928 692 8940.

Update 11.16.21 Adopted ! Remny makes you feel like the most important person in the world! Only 1 year old, this little boxer mix would be awesome for a family. Come meet him !

Look familiar? Found in Kingman, brought in yesterday. Call us if this is your dog and bring proof of ownership please. We have had multiple "owners" at times wanting to claim dogs, we want the real owner to speak up.

Our Story

HALT is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) No-Kill Animal Rescue Sanctuary Organization in Kingman, Arizona. We receive no government funding and exist with volunteers, donor & sponsor assists. We are in good standing with our county Health Department and are licensed to hold up to 70 animals. We are open 10 to 4 on Monday to Saturday and only by appointment on Sundays.
