Discount Day is a walk-in service, no appointment necessary. For this event, our prices are $5 per dog. We still offer nails as a walk-in service during our regular hours, but for the regular price of $15.

If your dog is averse to other dogs or fearful of the process, please bring them on a regular day. While we have great luck with reconditioning fearful dogs, it starts with setting them up for success (like picking a more calm day to learn). If your dog does not do well on nail day, we are happy to try another day to get your pup where they need to be.

Monthly Discount Nail Event at The Altered Dog!

February 9 & 10, 2-4pm is our next Nail Day. Our regular price is $15 per dog, but on Nail Day, it is $5 per dog. It is a walkin service, no appointment necessary.

The Altered Dog has MOVED one mile down the road. We are now at 1555 Northern Avenue Suite C. We are across the street from The Rainbow Diner, the mini-mall next to the Curiosity Shop, and the same complex as Noma V**e and Kingman Cut Lounge.

This upgraded location allows a quieter calmer environment, improved parking, and a yard for your dog. For events days, please use the parking lot behind the building whenever possible, to accommodate our handicap clients during atypical traffic. Please keep all pets under control, and not interacting with other dogs that they do not have direct permission to interact with.

The Altered Dog has relocated! Please share this wherever you can! We are one mile down the road from our former location at 1555 Northern Avenue, Suite C. We are across the street from Rainbow Diner, and in the strip next to The Curiosity Shop.

Our new location offers an enclosed yard for the pups. We have regular parking in front of our shop as well as the Kingman Square Parking Lot behind us. The location and shop layout allows us to manage noise and distractions more efficiently, leading to a calmer, quieter environment.

Our upcoming Discount Nail Day is still on schedule for February 9th & 10th, from 2-4pm. For events wirh atypical traffic such as this, we encourage our customers to use the parking lot behind the building when possible. This reserves extra spaces for handicap access, and leave enough room for our neighbors to operate as usual. For general appointments, whichever option you prefer is fine.

Ask us about our event for a sedation-free canine dental clinic, on March 4th & 5th. Limited availability, first come first serve, $250-300 per dog.

The Altered Dog has upgraded! We are moving one mile from our current location to 1555 Northern Suite C. We are in between The Curiosity Shop and the dirt lot for Kingman Square Parking.

We have addressed the new issues of parking and environmental volume with this upgrade. There is improved parking for our human clients, and a fenced yard for our canine clients. All set appointments will be the same as we agreed on, but at our *new* location from January 29th onwards.

We will be having a shop-warming party in the coming days. Details to be announced soon, both on this page and through Groommore (our scheduling text system). There will be exclusive discounts, gift bags, a free raffle to all who show up, and a paid raffle.
