Update 5:30 pm: Just left the vet with Willa. This stinker hasn’t even lifted her head today or wouldn’t stand, eat, or drink. We got her to the vet and after receiving fluids again, she ate 2 small cans of the recovery food off the vet techs hands! They gave her more anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds, did X-rays, and checked her bloodsugar again. Today her bloodsugar is normal! X-rays were normal except for showing some arthritis in her spine. So please keep the prayers coming because in the span of an hour, she is like a different dog-praise the Lord!

Willa is not any better today. Still very lethargic and hasn’t gotten up today. She is going back to the vet this afternoon to repeat bloodwork and to have X-rays. Please continue to pray for answers and healing! She’s pitiful💔🙏🏻

Miss Cocoa is off to her new foster that hopefully turns into her forever home! A huge thank you to Kathy Archer for stepping up for this sweet girl!🐾🐾💕

Willa’s liver function and glucose are high. Bloodwork indicates she lost a lot of blood which omg theres proof in my basement living room! They gave her fluids and anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds. Shes feeling lousy and still lethargic. We will be returning tomorrow or Saturday to the vet to recheck bloodwork and possibly do xrays. We arent sure whats going on. Please continue to pray for her! Dr. Melissa and her staff are amazing!

Please say a prayer for sweet Willa! I came home today and she had had explosive bloody diarrhea and vomiting EVERYWHERE and she is very lethaEastridge Animal Hospitalstridge Animal Hospital and they are doing bloodwork to see what’s going on. I am worried!🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is Mama Cricket’s “I just stole Willa’s ball” LOOK. She’s still the best mama and she loves other dogs big and small. She’s getting spoiled and fed really well! She may or may not be getting peanut butter sandwiches and rotisserie chicken in between meals. She’s being fed the Honest Kitchen which is human grade food. We are trying to get some meat on her bones! She loves Mama Amy and wants to be right with me. She is a doll!🐾🐾💕

Just this afternoon they went from babies to puppies! They’re Kissing me on the nose, crawling in my lap, playing with each other, and walking.
FYI…We will need fosters for pairs of puppies when they are weaned!

Happy Adoption Day Razzy! You are Mama Amy’s sweet little boy. I have grown attached to you since caring for you for the last month and a half. You are my little sidekick, and the kissinest, cuddlebug! You went from dumped/abandoned in horrible condition to a loving forever home in a little over a month. I will never forget the day you came here you were so horribly matted that you couldn’t even put your chin down because of the softball size mat under your chin. It took the groomer all day long to shave you and give you some comfort. I am so glad those days are long over and you will be living your best life here in Kings Mountain, NC with your new mommy and daddy. I love you precious little one!🐾🐾💙

3/6/25 Cocoa has a Foster!

Urgent need for Adopter or Foster! Her foster can no longer keep her past the next few days. I have zero space here!

Mama Cocoa is still looking for her forever home! She is an amazing dog. She weighs approximately 70 pounds, is heartworm negative, is vaccinated, and spayed. She is great with other dogs of all sizes, and is housetrained. She is not a fan of men so who knows what one has done to her in the past. Cocoa does require a fenced yard! We originally thought she was a Husky but some of the pups had a DNA test done and it revealed they are Great Pyrenees/Shepherd. If you don’t know her story, she was originally found chained to a street sign in Bessemer City. The person that found her brought her home and then she gave birth to a litter of 10 pups. We rescued all of the pups and Mama Cocoa. Please message me if you’d like an application to foster or to adopt. Please share!

I have NO CLUE why these babies have not been adopted! They are gorgeous, sweet, and so funny to watch! The rest of their littermates have been adopted but they’re waiting patiently and cant understand why no one wants to give them a forever home! These sweet pictures were taken this morning so they are current pics.

Razzy we believe is Maltese/Shihtzu approximately 1.5 years old, Valentine and Hart are Aussie/Foxhound mix DOB 12/1/24,
Thurman is believed to be some kind of retriever mix approximate DOB 12/10/24

Look whose eyes are starting to open on their 2 week birthday today! We have 4 so far. First was Red Girl Firefly, Second was Green Girl Cuddlebug, Third was Gray Girl Doodlebug, and Fourth was Pink Girl Lovebug. Nikki and Dessa were here to see their beautiful eyes start to open and were also here for their births!This is such an amazing experience!

Ok where are my Kimmie fans? This precious little gal eluded residents of Kings Mountain for weeks, possibly months but just look at her now! She is being so spoiled rotten and is enjoying playing with her fur siblings.

Crickets Babies will be 2 weeks old tomorrow! They are so healthy and fat and are all thriving! Praise the Lord! She is still the best mama!
