❄️🐾 Winter Safety Tip for Your Furry Friends! 🐾❄️
Did you know that sidewalk salt can pose a hazard to your dog's paws and health? While it’s great for keeping walkways safe for us, the salt can irritate your dog’s paws, causing cracking or dryness. Ingesting it while licking their paws can even lead to health issues.

Here are some tips to protect your pup this winter:
1️⃣ Wipe Their Paws: After walks, gently wipe their paws with a damp cloth to remove any salt.
2️⃣ Use Paw Balm: Apply a protective paw balm before heading outside.
3️⃣ Dog Booties: If your pup doesn’t mind, invest in some comfy dog booties to keep their paws safe and warm.
4️⃣ Choose Pet-Friendly Salt: Opt for pet-safe deicers if you’re salting your own sidewalks.

At Metal Roof Grooming, we love your pets like family! Regular grooming can also help keep their paws healthy by ensuring fur between the pads is trimmed, preventing ice buildup.
