Pawsitively Pups Pawsitively Pups is all about the pups :) Dogs have been a lifelong passion for me. I first began training in 1999. We have many adventures ahead of us.

My instructor quickly became my friend and I trained with her for many years until she retired. She introduced me to the dog show world and I have been hooked ever since. I started competing in Obedience, Rally Obedience and Agility in 2000 and my dogs have earned a combined total of 27 performance titles between both UKC & AKC. Jake, the first dog I trained, earned the highest agility title offe

red by UKC, United Grand Agility Champion. He also was a UKC All Star in 2004 being among the top 50 dogs in the nation competing in agility. My current dogs, Tango & Katie, are training in Agility, Obedience, Rally, Nosework and Barn Hunt.

We all have challenges with our dogs and some are more challenging than others. It doesn’t make them bad dogs but it does make us better trainers.
Instead of giving in to the feelings of frustration get curious. Why is your dog doing what he is doing? Has there been reinforcement for the behavior? Keep in mind that reinforcement does not always come from you, it can come from the environment as well. What can you do to help your dog to make better choices?

This is a very cool video of Angel working out her first elevated hide last night. I did actually start her away from the source but the video picks up once we were there. I’m so proud of this little girl! 😊🥰
