Good morning!! Dakota here wants to let everyone know that there is construction on our road here at the vets office. He says you can still park in our 2 parking lots, if you can get through, or you can park on the street shoulder or in the parking lot by Mojos coffee (yes the coffee man is back on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays)!! The road construction is expected to go on for 2 weeks. 🐾

The ticks are certainly out and about now. This upcoming tick season is predicted to be the worse one yet for our area. Here are the 3 most common ticks we see in Kingsley. What to do if you find a tick on your dog or cat? Using tweezers, pull the tick at the base as close to the skin as you can & give us a call for the next steps for proper tick disease testing & potential treatment.

We recommend once a month flea, tick, and dewormer for cats & dogs all TWELVE months of the year! Yes! All 12! In January 2024 we had 4 days where the daily temp was over 38 degrees! Don’t let your pet fall victim to these deadly diseases.

The ticks are out and about!! We have received dozens of phone calls about ticks being on your dogs & cats! Ticks carry deadly diseases and have no remorse for who they attach to. We are entirely grateful for all of our wonderful clients. We have been incredibly short staffed & have had limited schedule availability this last quarter. Our staff thanks you for your understanding as it has not been easy on us!
