Great Trip chasing public ground wild Iowa roosters and huns with Chase Chaffin. Lots of first for the the Ruff Bluff dogs as this was the first time hunting either. Ol Heff as you can see in the first photo adapted quickly and I would have had a limit but opted for a photo of the 3rd rooster of the day so it bit me on the shooting end lol......but we will be back and ready for action. I watched the whole thing unfold from the recliner in my Mamaw and Papaw Clevenger's living room, out of school that day at age 13 in 8th grade for a sick stomach that may or may not have been too sick. Many men and women lost their lives that day and I will never forget.........
