You asked and we are pleased to announce that we are offering a class to instruct owners of Poodles and Doodles how to maintain their dog's coat in between professional grooms. Poodle and Doodle dog coats have specific requirements for regular coat care and the prevention of matting. Just a public service annoucement about the danger of dogs eating toxic mushrooms.
We have had a couple clients whose dogs became very sick and a client whose sweet puppy passed after eating what is believed to be mushrooms this week on their walks. Hopefully this heightens awareness!

9/4/23 Awesome news this morning!
Henry, lost dog from Duxbury is safe! After more than 2 weeks with no sightings, barking was heard in a nearby neighborhood for the past 2 days. This morning a local homeowner, Kevin, was able to safely retrieve Henry from a wet boggy area. Many many thanks to Kevin and Nancy and Andy and Ylana for alerting MDM of the barking. Kevin and Nancy had worked with MDM in the past with help trapping their dog. They definitely paid it forward today! Also thanks to Director Lisa V and Duxbury ACO Eddy for their help as well as MDM Volunteer Robin A! Henry has some minor scratches but otherwise ok & will be checked out by vet.

8/28/23 Henry is very missed by his family. Do you know anyone that might have gotten a new dog recently that resembles him? No bit of info is too small.. Please keep sharing to help bring him home.

Missing Dog: Male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier - , MA 8/19/23

Henry is 7 yrs/38 lbs. He is buff in color. He is missing from the area of Franklin St./West St. near Satellite Fire Station.
