🍂 Fall is full of delicious foods, and while some are safe for your pet to enjoy, others can be dangerous.

Sugary pumpkin pie, garlic, onions, and raisins (often found in stuffing and baked goods) are toxic to dogs and can cause serious health issues. Cooked bones, commonly left over from roasts, can splinter and lead to internal injuries. Chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is harmful, and corn on the cob can cause blockages. Even spiced foods containing nutmeg or large amounts of cinnamon should be avoided.

Keep your furry friend safe this season by knowing which foods to keep off their plate! 🐾

🏞️ Fall Adventures Await!

As autumn brings a flurry of outdoor activities, it's crucial to update your pet's ID. The crisp air invites more exploration, increasing the chance of pets wandering off. Fall festivals can disorient our furry friends, while hunting season might startle pets in rural areas. Unpredictable weather might cause your pet to seek unfamiliar shelter, and upcoming holiday travel adds another layer of risk.

Fall brings muddy trails and hidden debris that can wreak havoc on your pet's paws.

After walks, give those pads a thorough wipe-down to remove mud, small pebbles, and potentially harmful salt or de-icing chemicals. Check between the toes for any stuck leaves or burrs. The changing weather can also lead to dry, cracked pads, so apply a pet-safe moisturizer regularly.

Healthy, clean paws mean more tail-wagging adventures! 🍂🐾

Save this post to ensure your pet's feet are safe during the fall season!
