Knowledge is Power

I noticed when i was staying in Canada that a lot of their fruit like apples were all covered in a wax like substance that you could scratch off with your nail but was almost impossible to wash off...i was told it was pesticides & most of their fruit was this way :(

Does any other country have their apples covered in this no doubt poisonous crap ? I've found the below information & hope this helps get rid of it so you don't have to try & scrub the hell out of your apples before you can eat them :)

kg

just got this in my inbox and feel i have to share it too so you can make an informed choice:

1) wax on fruit are not pesticide see below

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruit_waxing

2) pesticide CANT be washed! when they are sprayed on any vegetable or fruits they will be absorbed into the fruit or vegetable .. it is delusional that to think you can remove pesticide from a fruit or vegetable even by peeling them the only safe produces to eat are organic sorry to blow the buble

to prove my point try to spray fruit and veggies with a blue dye wait a couple of days see results

The only veggie I have ready right this minute is Green Beans. I dont have the stand up yet due to nothing ready in bulk. There is something I am going to try this year is I am going to do some baking like cookies, brownies, cupcakes maybe some fudge anything else anyone can think of that would not spoil outside. Please contact me by text or facebook message if you want anything. As soon as the sweet corn or anything else comes ready or when I set up the stand I will let everyone on here know. Thank you for reading and visiting our stand. See you later. Karen

NON-toxic W**d Killer Recipe

I have been getting so many thank you's from people who have tried this, I had to Share again for those that missed it!

*** Good to use in yards with Pets & Children roaming around!
Make sure to share this on your own page for future reference and to help inform and protect others.

Ingredients:
1 qt white vinegar (it's the cheapest)
2 T dish soap (I use Dawn)
1/4 cup salt

Put in 32 oz spray bottle. And shake well. Spray w**ds thoroughly. Best if done on A sunny Day.
Great for killing w**ds, even around your veggie garden.

This works better than Round Up - kills w**ds on 1st application.
The Dawn dish soap strips the w**d of its protective oils so the vinegar can work with deadly force. Safe for use in yards used by children and pets.

☆ Thank you all for passing my things around and sharing ☆
