Friends of Kingston Point Dog Park

Friends of Kingston Point Dog Park The new park opened JULY 9, 2013. The advisory group looks forward to developing and offering educational programming to the community.

THE DOG PARK EQUATION: Exercised dogs are tired dogs = easier-to-manage dogs = happy dog owners and their neighbors = fewer dogs end up in shelters = fewer dogs are destroyed! In collaboration with the City of Kingston, Friends of Kingston Point Dog Park has accomplished its goal to have the Kingston Point Dog Park approved, installed, and operational. Friends of Kingston Point Dog Park has made

a gift to the City of Kingston of a well-designed, well-built, fully functional, and safely operated park facility for use by residents of the City of Kingston and visitors to our city. Friends of Kingston Point Dog Park expects that the City of Kingston will incorporate established dog park rules into City ordinances thus enabling the dog Control Officer and Police Department to enforce them. Friends of Kingston Point Dog Park will continue in an advisory role and plans to assist the City of Kingston to ensure the well-being of the dog park and its visitors. Complaints and/or maintenance issues regarding the dog park site should be directed to the City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department: Kevin Gilfeather 845 331 1682
