Puppy Classes are all fun and games between you and your puppy.

Our Puppy Lifestyle classes are a bit different. Customized both to the temperament and learning styles of the puppy and their people. Free for all puppy play is limited and earned. We feel it is critical for behavioral and physical safety to proceed this way, as we have for 25 years. All dogs are not meant to greet and play. It’s far more important for them safely learn how to act around other puppies and adult dogs.

Contact us with your new puppy, we will not merely focus on the obedience of sit, stay, come, we will help you and your puppy start to build a foundation on trust, clear communication, emotional support & understanding, and boundaries that will help with a lifetime with your dog.

From an email I received from my Dr.

“In light of the Air Quality Advisory throughout our region, we are reaching out to acknowledge concerns you may have about your health related to the smoke in our region from the Canadian wildfires.

Until the advisory is lifted, everyone should avoid outside exposure as much as possible. The very young, the elderly, and people with heart and lung conditions should take extra precautions to avoid the smoke.

It is important to consult with your health care provider for specific recommendations and guidance based on your individual health conditions.

😷Avoid outdoor exercise and limit time spent outside
🤣Use a mask when outside, N-95 masks are preferrable
😷Keep doors and windows closed
😷If available, use an air conditioning system and set it to “recirculate” to help clean the air
😷Check your air filters in your air conditioning unit to make sure they are clean

Please remember to keep your dogs inside, except for potty breaks and absolutely NO strenuous activities or training for them. 🐾 ♥️

A dog lover’s gift exchange. This is a legit Secret Santa type exchange. You will receive one(or two smaller gifts depending on price limits), from one person. Many use Amazon, but you make up your wishlist, tell us what you like what is most needed, favorite colors, and some may shop elsewhere and mail/deliver it direct to you. Something great for your dog, or that makes your life with your dog easier.

Elfster does all the work. It chooses your Secret Santa, if you will. You won’t necessarily have the same person sending you a gift as the one you are sending your gift.

It closes this Sunday, gifts should arrive by January 15th.

We’ve done this for the last two years with my dog club, and it’s been excellent.

Muzzles are not going to traumatize your dog more, if you learn how to acclimate your puppy or dog to them.

If your vet recommends a muzzle, some anxiety medication, and gives you our number, we will help you learn to muzzle for upcoming appointment. We will also work with you to avoid needing all of that for future visits.

We do realize the Pandemic really messed up everything. You got a puppy because you were home, perfect. You missed the part about socialization during a Pandemic, being possible(if you are willing to leave the house). I know you didn’t know the Amish were not puppy mills, and the pups are raised by the kids(if any), in the barn. Maybe why your pup is good with kids but growls at adults? They are given food and the person leaves. Maybe why your pup only eats when it’s dark and alone? They are raised on a single substrate where the eat, sleep, p**p, and p*e. It was cold, you still needed to work, “I can’t possibly follow that schedule if I want to get any work done!” A recent comment from a puppy owner, I won’t write my response. Maybe that’s why they are 6-10 months old and still having accidents?

Did you get a dog during the Pandemic empty the shelters? Thank you! Did you research the breed(s)? Did you ask a lot of questions? Did you ask others who know what to be prepared for during the first few weeks or months? Realize what you have added to your family.
