As temperatures rise, the risk of heatstroke increases dramatically for our pets. This is a life-threatening emergency that can happen FAST—even on days that don't feel that hot to us!
Signs of heatstroke:
🚨 Excessive panting or drooling
🚨 Bright red or pale gums
🚨 Weakness or collapse
🚨 Vomiting or diarrhea

Memorial Day Weekend Safety Tips!
BBQs, picnics, and celebrations are coming—keep your pets safe!
Foods to AVOID:
❌ Corn on the cob (causes blockages!)
❌ Cooked bones (splinter & cause injuries)
❌ Onions & garlic (in burgers, marinades)
❌ Grapes (potato salad ingredient!)
❌ Alcohol
❌ Chocolate desserts
❌ Xylitol in sugar-free items
Safe for pets:
✅ Plain grilled chicken (no bones/seasoning)
✅ Plain hamburger (no onions/garlic)
✅ Carrots
✅ Green beans
✅ Their regular treats!
