Rescue and Boarding We rescue and rehab abused and neglected dogs and help them to become dogs again .

Our Hospice program allows older unwanted dogs to live out their days in comfort surrounded by love. We also offer low cost boarding for personal pets who will stay as part of our pack and get to enjoy play time in our fully secure fenced yards, a seasonal pool, and full access to our home alongside our own dogs.

We would like to welcome Rachel and Phoebe to Dogwood DogCamp. Sadly, their owner passed away and these little girls found themselves in the need of a new home so we opened our doors to them. They’re three-year-old sisters and they will be available for adoption. They need to learn how to be dogs and learn how to be in the house and they’re just cute as can be ….with Mom‘s love they will just flourish so welcome little girls. You’re gonna love it here.

Today we lost our Herbie. He was the very beginning of Dogwood Dogcamp.….. Stephen searched for the perfect dog to start his pack of teaching dogs and found Herbie sitting in a shelter. He would go on to meet and greet and make welcome hundreds of other dogs in his lifetime. His calm ,old soul would put even the most nervous and scared dog at ease .He loved his job as greeter and he loved his daddy Stephen with his whole heart. Herbie had a beautiful life as dog greeter,bikerpup and , winner of dog with longest tail. He loved nothing more than to be petted all day and hang out with his best friend Simon. Herbie lived with mom after Stephen’s death and enjoyed his favorite spot on the couch with her and soaked up all the love she so generously gave him.
Herbie was never the same after the death of Stephen and we can only imagine the glorious reunion at the Rainbow Bridge when they finally reunited ..We will miss Herbie terribly but are comforted knowing that not only is he with his daddy again but also all his friends that have gone on before.

We would like to welcome Hailey to Dogwood DogCamp !!!! Hailey will have her 1st visit to a vet in the AM and get set up for her spay …. No more puppies for you little girl … After Hailey gets used to being “ just a dog” and acclimated to life indoors she will be available for adoption … stay tuned for updates

our sassy no nonsense Miracle crossed the Rainbow Bridge today as mom told her what a beautiful girl she was .....Miracle came to us after being rescued from nearly freezing to death by the awesome ladies at MoCo mutts....it was a Miracle she survived hence her name.Miracle was an independent girl but loved having those special times all by herself snuggling with mom..her stubborn,sassy non chalant attitude will be missed...run free little one.. find Stephen and his pack and one day we will see you all again
