These two awesome field hunters are looking for new riders for Christmas 🎄

They have both hunted with 4 different hunts and 4 different riders ranging from professional to AA. Full Ahead has taken riders on their 1st, 2nd and 3rd hunts. They are great jumpers, very respectful of hounds, have never even pinned an ear at another horse in the field. They are easy to load, bathe, clip, tie to the trailer, cross tie, stand for the vet or farrier.

A couple spots open for boarding in Chestertown MD at a drama free quiet facility!
Prefer geldings, but mares considered if the mare is ok with geldings or being alone. Full care or self care stall options available, but we do require that they come in most days to help preserve fields especially going into winter. Though if we have a exceptionally nice night/day, we will let them enjoy it while they can. Cribbers are ok, but they have to be controlled with a collar.
Provided with full care-
Hay (orchard grass)🌾
Grain (Tribute)
Shavings
Bring in and turn out
Two daily feedings (can arrange more if horse requires it)
Fly spray/hosing in the summer☀️
Blanketing in the winter❄️
Other accommodations can be arranged if needed
$750 a month
Facility accommodations-
Bathroom
Tack room
Feed room
Kitchen
Outdoor with all weather footing
Jumps
Small XC field ranging from BN- Training (a couple of each level)
Automatic waterers in the stalls
Automatic fly spraying system in the barn
Two wash stalls with hot and cold water

🦄 ALERT!!🚨 🚨🚨

Super cute 15.3hh (Unsticked, might be closer to 16hh) 4 year old Gelding. This guy is going to be something super special! Bourbon🥃 has had 2 rides post track and acts better than some packers🤯 He is safe, sound and has a great 🧠! He is definitely more whoa than go, he would rather be walking than going anywhere fast. Obviously why he didn’t make a good racehorse🤷🏽‍♀️😂 I would not consider him a beginners horse just because he’s still green and young, but with a little time and training he absolutely could be! He could also be brought along by a capable junior with a trainer no problem right now! He loves riding in the ring or hitting the trails! He has trotted over some LOW cross rails and put minimal effort into it. He could definitely make a great hunter, but I don’t think he will go into the upper levels. He doesn’t give “competitive” vibes. He just wants to have fun and relax. He definitely deserves his own person so I would like him to find a forever home. He has w/t/c on the lunge line, but is definitely still learning the concept of it. He’s such a fast learner! Two times on the lunge line and he had it solid at the w/t. He has never offered a buck, rear or bolt and is absolutely not the explosive type. That takes to much energy😂 He has been out on the trails on the farm alone and couldn’t care less. He’s been up and down the banks and puts about as much energy as he does into anything else... minimal. This one is one that doesn’t come around to often! Pm me if you have any questions or want videos! He stands single tied, cross tied, to be bathed, picks all his feet up, and loads great. He LOVES to be pampered so he’ll stand all day long to be groomed and loved on. Bourbon is located in Chestertown MD. High 🥕🥕🥕🥕

If you’re looking for a slow, kick ride, with great potential in the hunters, here’s your guy!

Sully lives life in the slow lane, he’s the type of guy that EVERYONE passes on the interstate. But don’t let that fool you, sully has unmatched potential with a career in the hunter ring.

This guy has 3 amazing gates, in which he carries him self very nicely. He has been started over fences, has hacked out alone, and played on our cross country course. He’s an easy guy to get along with under saddle and on the ground.

Has an amazing jump to him, very powerful and round, has jumped up to 2’9 but works consistently at 2’3.

On the ground sully is amazing, walks like a snail, stands in cross ties to be groomed, tacked, and bathed. Great with fly spray, stands for farrier, and clean in his stall. No vices or injuries.

Lucas Farms LLC is currently in search of a rider looking to grow their knowledge within the sales horse industry!

As we are a newly founded growing operation, we are looking to grow our team, to continue the top notch quality care, and continuance of quality sales.

We specialize in off track thoroughbreds, however we occasionally have other sport horse breeds as well.

Our new team member would gain knowledge in all aspects in horse care, scheduling and time management, barn management, learning the ins and out of business within a sales facility, and of course gaining knowledge within the saddle on our sport horses.

Duties would include but not limited to
- feeding
-typical barn duties
- turn out
- tacking/ bathing
- Typical up keep of facility amenities
- cleaning of tack/laundry etc

We require at least an amateur rider with at least a 3-5 year background with horse care and knowledge.

This would be a great opportunity for a young rider with aspirations to run a facility, and get their name out there, and a ton of knowledge for a future resume!
