We hope everyone and their furkids are doing good in this cold. We set up a little warm spot for the kitties in our neighbor and the dogs are snug with the heaters installed last yr and donated blankets. Your support is what makes it possible for us to continue caring for our community’s pets!

Join our neighbors next Saturday to learn some very important skills in handling nursing kittens.

Kitten season is approaching, and bottle feeders are needed now more than ever! Join us for this free to attend class on Saturday January 11th, 11AM in our Wellness Center.

Ages 8 and up are welcome to attend. We will cover topics on neonate care, first aid, locating a mommy cat, and how to bottle feed.

As 2024 is coming to an end, we are reflecting on the last few years. We have had some successes but many setbacks. We are grateful for our supporters' ongoing backing, which has enabled us to persevere, but we are far from thriving. We have put the majority of our energy and attention into ensuring we have people there to clean feed and water our pets on a daily basis and it has left little to no room for us to get out in our community like we used to. Our funding, marketing, adoptions and community relations are all suffering. We are burned out and discouraged but desperately want to change that. Raising funds is always a priority. We need help planning and executing fundraisers, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, getting involved with community events, marketing our pets, getting our clinic back up and running, etc. If any businesses need any last second tax write offs or would like to start the new year strong, we need… anything and everything 😅 Seriously though, we would love to have more people interested in contributing their efforts to help us better serve the community. 💗💗 HOW ABOUT A COOKIE? 💗💗 After I was left behind by my people, I wandered around the neighborhood not knowing what to do. I ended up having my litter of kittens in what I thought was a safe place but only two survived. Some kind people who happened to volunteer with ARK and took us in. They found wonderful homes for my kittens and fostered me through my medical processes. I’m a quiet girl, content with having just the basics. ✨✨SPONSORED✨✨ I’m Johnny and I like to run. Like, A LOT! A few months ago I ran away from ARK and boy did I run! Ended up clear across town and recognized nothing. I had no idea what to do or that everyone was desperately looking for me. I sat in a field during cold rain all night and thought I was done for! Thankfully, no one gave up and Mrs. Kim came to my rescue! She found me and gave me a ride back to ARK. I really thought my caregivers would be angry, but instead, they were delighted to see me uninjured and safe. I got dried off, warmed up and given some play time with my favorite toys.
