Bettor's Wish 2025 Stallion Application now available from Southwind Farms LLC

A winner of $2.6 million during his illustrious career, Bettor’s Wish’s lifetime summary was an incredible 44-24-13-4 with a mark of 1:47.3. He was awarded the Dan Patch trophy as top three-year-old pacing c**t of the year after an extremely impressive season which saw him as the top money winning horse of 2019. Equally impressive at four, Bettor's Wish capped off his career with a decisive win in the TVG Open Pace and was named the Dan Patch Aged Pacer of the Year.

Bettor’s Wish bred a limited number of mares prior to the start of his four-year-old campaign in 2020 and from that small crop emerged this year’s top sophomore c**t Better Is Nice p, 3, 1:48 –’24 ($1,026,183) as well as Wish You Well p, 3, 1:49.1f –’24 ($470,440); Arbitrage Hanover p, 3, 1:49.1 – ‘24 ($309,250); etc. His top two-year-olds in 2024 include Wedlock Blue Chip p, 2, 1:51.3f –’24 ($98,479); Royally Hot p, 2, 1:51.4f – ‘24 ($76,922); etc. His average earnings per starter is an impressive $69,282.

A son of the current leading money winning stallion Bettor’s Delight, Bettor’s Wish is a full brother to Lifetime Trust p, 4, 1:52f ($236,739) and the dam of Seven Colors p, 3, 1:48.1h ($799,079). He is a half-brother to Starship p, 4, 1:50.2f ($397,119), his dam is a half-sister to Allstar Legend p, 1:48 ($543,803) and his immediate family includes the great Three Diamonds.

Legendary Hanover, winner of the 2024 Meadowlands Pace and Cane Pace and 2023 O’Brien Award-winning 2-Year-Old Pacing C**t of the Year will be syndicated and stand at Southwind Farms, in Pennington, N.J., beginning in 2025.

The son of Huntsville set multiple stakes and track records, including this year’s Meadowlands Pace (1:46.3), Cane Pace (1:46.2) and the Empire Breeders Classic (1:48.1f).

Trainer Anthony Beaton said: “Legendary Hanover is very intelligent, one of the smartest horses I’ve ever been around. He possessed a flawless and powerful gait and has a huge set of lungs.”

After setting the stakes record in the Meadowlands Pace, driver James MacDonald said, “He’s all business; he’s a scary animal that is simply very fast and talented.”

Southwind Farms’ Laura Young is excited to have Legendary Hanover join the stallion roster, joining the likes of Walner and Tactical Landing.

“With his looks, pedigree and performance, he is a natural fit for New Jersey and for Southwind Farm,” Young said.

Owned by Eric Good, Westwind Stable and Mark Dumain and trained by Anthony Beaton throughout his career, the 12-time winner retires with $1,088,681 in career earnings.
