Just a reminder that TOMORROW, July 1st, starts our Walk-In fee being increased to $50. We have several appointment slots open for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. We will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of July 4th.

**ATTENTION**

After much thought and consideration, we will be increasing our Walk-In Fee to $50 beginning on July 1st. We are still offering walk-in openings to those who NEED to be seen same-day for sudden or chronic illnesses.

With the walk-in fee currently being a lower price, we have many clients walk-in for things that CAN wait for an appointment. Many times we do have same-day appointments available, or next-day appointments.

With an already full appointment board, a high number of walk-ins can push an already busy staff to get behind schedule. We understand this is not fair to those who have made time and effort to make appointments.

We appreciate everyone who has made appointments and continues to do so! This has helped alleviate much stress on our doctors and staff, and we hope that by increasing our walk-in fee, we will encourage others to make appointments as well.

We are so proud of Sarah and are lucky enough to have her as part of our team!

Even with getting into Veterinary School and having to leave in the fall, she comes in to help whenever we need her and works tirelessly from the moment she walks through the door.

Summer is right around the corner, and with summer comes a HUGE influx of mosquitos in the environment! Did you know that pets should be on preventions year-round, not just summertime? The reason most pet owners only do summertime preventions is because that's when we see more mosquitos. More mosquitos = greater risk for Heartworm Disease. However, mosquitos are here year round!

Make sure your pets are protected going into summer and schedule an appointment to update any overdue vaccines or heartworm tests! While you're here- grab your preventions to ensure they stay protected!

Anybody need a happy, healthy pup for their Easter basket?! Buddy is still residing as a local here until he finds his forever home!

Buddy is just a little over 1 year old, he is up to date on all vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella) and heartworm test. Last heartworm test was done in February was negative.

From his previous owner and from watching him over the last few weeks we know this about Buddy:

-not food aggressive
-great with kids
-great with other animals
-was an indoor pet
-potty trained
-a very sweet boy!
