Meet Gibbs❤️
One of Puppy Power Dog Resorts managers was on her way to work a few months back when she saw a small dog being tossed out of a car in the direction of a moving train on Gibbs Sprawl Road right before entering the city of Kirby. She had a choice to make whether to try to get the license plate of the car or try to safely rescue the little dog in the moment. She chose to scoop up the little dog. ❤️❤️ The little guy was so heavily matted that he could not see from his eyes. He was extremely dirty and his fur looked as if it had never been cleaned or maintained. We don’t know the story of what Gibbs life was like before being rescued but we do know after having him for several months now, and working on his grooming makeover, playing with him and having him fully vetted that he is an amazingly sweet little doggy who just wants a forever family and someone to hold him that he can kiss whenever he wants. Homes for pets Humane Society worked with us, getting all of his medical needs tended to and all four of our groomers, Bree, Alli, Denise, and Leah have been working together on his grooming needs as his situation was very very extreme. And of course, Heaven, one of our managers at Puppy Power who rescued Gibbs from the potential dire situation. Every week, his hair grows back a little bit more, and he is one of the happiest little dogs and shows his gratitude through his love. His rescue and grooming rehabilitation took a village and now he is ready for his forever family.
