GivingTuesday is one month away! This fundraiser is a HUGE lifeline for the rescue and the more money donated, the more we can help the animals in our care.

As we get ready for GivingTuesday, we will be highlighting some of the amazing cats and dogs we've been able to help and who still need homes or other support. We'd LOVE it if you could SHARE these stories so we can spread the word.

We also have several immediate needs for foster families if you're not ready for a long-term pet.

Not able to foster or adopt? That's okay! There are lots of ways to help. We can always use volunteers to:
- Transport animals to their foster or adoptive homes;
- Pick up and drop off food/supplies;
- Help plan and run events;
- Support fundraising;
- and many more opportunities!

Kylo needs your help! Please SHARE! Phantom's post reached 6k people thanks to your shares; let's do the same for this awesome guy.

Today marks THREE WEEKS that Kylo has been living in a boarding kennel because we don't have a foster for him. He's lonely and bored AND it's costing over $50 a day for the rescue, which we could be using to support other animals in need.

Kylo is an incredible dog. This poor guy keeps getting overlooked because of his breed, but he is the sweetest charmer of a pup and defies a lot of expectations. He is certainly active like other Huskies, but also has a super chill mode. With a reasonable amount of mental stimulation and exercise, he's a perfectly balanced dude. He's house and crate-trained, and is great on leash. He's good with other dogs as well.

We'd love to find him a foster or adoptive home, and he definitely deserves it. Are you the one? Let us know if you have questions or want more info.

Folks, you showed up big for Phantom! Can you give the same love to sweet Nova? We're looking for a foster home or forever family for this little lady, so please SHARE to spread the word!

If you're looking for a house hippo/land seal/pocket pittie, Nova is your girl. She's full of snuggles and love and just wants to be with her people. She's currently in our overflow kennel in Eastern Washington, and she's definitely a sad girl. Will you be the one to help her find a comfy home?

She's house and crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She needs moderate activity and would likely do well in a condo or apartment, given daily walks. She is okay with other dogs, but would probably like to be the only dog in her new home.

😍 Thank your for the overwhelming response to help Phantom! The foster family is able to hang onto him for another couple of days while we process the inquiries and applications. Definitely do apply if you're interested in helping Phantom! 😍

This is Phantom. He was supposed to be adopted last weekend, so the rescue got him neutered and groomed and brought him from Eastern WA to the Seattle area. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the perfect match.

Phantom will need to be sent back to E WA if we can’t find him a foster by Saturday, 11/2. He’s had the worst luck from being found with porcupine quills in his snout to this. Anyone know someone willing to temp foster?

As you can see, he’s some type of doodle. He’s young and energetic, and is such a sweet boy. He comes with a crate and food.

Red Waggin' Rescue is in need of foster homes or sponsors for several dogs. In one week they will be moved back to the rescue's holding kennel in Eastern WA, which isn’t ideal as temps drop.

Meet Kylo - FOSTER NEEDED by Sept 29th

Kylo came into rescue with another husky...probably siblings August 15, 2024.

Kylo is a happy boy… He lives to walk and run. He wants affection and will jump up with both feet on my chest and just stay there for pets/scratches and nice words. He will use his howling voice sometimes.

Let us introduce you to Cupcake!

This sweet girl was found showing love and loyalty to her furry friend on the side of the road. Now, she's looking for her forever snuggle buddy! Cupcake is a total cuddle bug who craves affection and dreams of hosting doggie playdates followed by cozy couch naps. She's great with humans of all ages. Cupcake's energy level is just right for a mix of playtime and relaxation. Although Cupcake gets along with other dogs, she would do best in a home as the only dog!

Meet Mila!

Mila is such a sweet bulldog. This sweet girl is roughly 4 years old. She walks well on a leash. She loves to follow you around the house, go for cars rides and enjoys an easy walk. She is very mellow tempered and rarely barks. A home with another dog her age to play with or just family would be great as all she wants to do is be a giant love bug who sits on the couch with the family.

We have 3 large dogs in boarding, 1 large dog who’s owner is moving in days (she is only 45 pounds), one who lives in an apartment and needs a yard, 3 more living in less than ideal circumstances… that doesn’t even include the surrender questionnaires from people requesting help for their dogs or dogs they found.

Fostering small dogs is easy, we get it and we understand. Besides size, what are your reasons for being hesitant to foster a dog over 50 lbs? Please share with us, we would love to help ease your mind 😀
