One of the best ways you can support our work is by fostering. Please SHARE this post so we can get these dogs in front of potential fosters!

We are a small rescue and only have a few kennels in Eastern Washington where we can hold animals. As you might imagine, there isn't much enrichment or human interaction for them there, and it's far from ideal in the winter. This means we rely on fosters or end up incurring costs for boarding. Would you consider fostering for us?

Looking for a sweet pair of kitties to light up your life? Check out Gemma and Jax, two baby kitties looking for a forever home.

They are not litter mates, but have recently been paired to provide social connection and seem do be doing well. Jax is a playful, loving little guy, while Gemma is on the quieter side. They will make great companions for someone!

Solomon recently spent some time in a foster home and got some walkies, so he's a happy boy. Check out the video to see how good he is on a leash!

Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, Solomon needs a new foster home and is temporarily in boarding. The senior dogs in his foster home weren't too happy he was there. He does great with other dogs and makes a wonderful walking and hiking companion.

Want to hear some good news? Kimmi is out of the kennel! She's currently being boarded where she can get outside and play with other dogs and is THRIVING! We're so glad for our sweet girl.

Kimmi is currently looking for a foster or forever home. She's about 2 1/2 years old and is on the smaller size for a husky. Kimmi loves people and will steal your heart the second you meet here. Are you willing to give Kimmi a shot?

Everyone, direct your attention to SOLOMON! He's been with the rescue a few weeks now and has been showing us what a star he is in a foster home. We need to find him a new foster placement soon and are, of course, always looking for a forever home. Are you the one?

Solomon is about 2 years old and is a gentle giant at 74 pounds. He loves people and other dogs and is quite the loyal companion. He loves walking and is good on a leash. He's house trained, but not a big fan of crates and being confined.

Solomon is on the shy side, but does warm up. He takes longer with men, but has been getting to know his foster (human) brother along the way. With lots of love and patience, Solomon is ready to be the bestest boy.

It's National Chocolate Cake Day, according to Facebook, so how about a little CUPCAKE?!

Cupcake is a pup that just wants to find a home with someone that loves her. This girl has so much love to give and is ready to meet her person.

The tough thing is that we're looking for a 🦄 unicorn 🦄! Cupcake needs a home with no other dogs, one where she can get the attention and love she needs. She's had such a tough life and we want her to have the happy ending she deserves. Every share this post gets her closer to that.

How can it be that Bunny hasn't found her forever home yet?! Look at that sweet face! And those ears!

Bunny seems to be seeking to answer the question, "How much love can you pack into a seven-pound body?" She is a lover through and through and charms everyone she meets. She can be on the quieter side and loves to just hang out and snuggle.

Where are our husky lovers at? Wi******er, Gypsy, Kimmi, and Yukon are awaiting their forever homes and we'd love to find them each a match.

Each of these pups is different, but they each have the husky smarts and athleticism their breed is known for. That said, they're all quite unique and lovable in their own ways!

This gentleman with the soulful eye is Webber. He's looking for a foster or forever home... will you give this good boy a chance?

Webber is house and crate-trained and knows several commands. He loves playing fetch and enjoys walks. He has been living with a family for several years and has been a loyal and loving companion. However, he struggles with being overprotective and does not react well to visitors coming in the home. The next best place for him will be a quieter home without children and with few visitors.

Everyone, meet Jewell! This pretty lady has had a tough few months and is looking for her forever home where she can receive all the love she deserves. Are you her person?!

Jewell and her baby, Gemma, were found as strays in Connell in eastern Washington. Gemma has been paired with another kitten and we're now hoping to find Jewell a quiet home with another cat she can bond with.

Jewell is quiet and shy, which isn't surprising, given her past. She will need someone who's willing to be patient while she comes out of her shell. When she does, though, how rewarding that will be!

We had two lovely pups join the rescue in late December as strays from Connell: Ellie and Ebony. This is Ellie! She is looking for a foster or forever home!

Ellie is about a year old and is a very affectionate, people-oriented dog. She walks well on a leash and isn't reactive to other dogs. She can be a bit of a Velcro dog, happiest when her people are near. She will be a loving, committed companion for someone!

We are still looking for a foster for Solomon, starting as soon as possible. Are you willing to take in this handsome boy while we look for his forever family?

Solomon is about two years old and is listed as a Labrador mix. He's currently about 80 pounds. He's described as friendly and calm, with medium energy. He does well with other dogs.

Solomon does walk on a leash, but is a little fearful. Understandable, as he's been through a lot lately! Hopefully with some patience and love, he'll be the best boy he can be very soon.

Check out these two cuties! Jax and Gemma are kittens from different litters who have been paired to provide socialization and snuggles. Kittens always do best with a peer, and we want these two adopted together.

Both of these two are quiet and a little timid, but with time and love, we think they will come out of their shells. Can you give them the loving home they need?

We can't believe Luna hasn't found her forever home yet! She's such a beauty and so sweet... surely someone needs a kitty like her in their lives!

Luna is one of those cats who needs a little time to warm up to new people and places, but once she does, she's all yours. 😍 She has quite the playful, sweet personality once she's comfortable. She will make someone a wonderful companion!

We do prefer that our cats not be solo in the home for their socialization and emotional health. So, if you have a cat looking for a friend, Luna would be perfect!
