✨Staff Spotlight - Lexie (boarding lead) ✨

🐕 Favorite Job Aspect: A really well run shift and spending time with the boarding team
🐾 Pets: Gimli (chihuahua who makes noises like a husky), Tula (dilluted tortie with an attitude) and Dipper (Tuxedo cat with one brain cell but lots of love to give)
🎲 Hobbies/Interests: Going to concerts and playing board games with my friends
🎬 Favorite Pet Movie: Because of Winn Dixie. It was also my favorite book as a kid.

Let’s find Duck a home! 🏠

******Thank you for all the shares! Duck has been adopted and is doing great in his new home!

Shockingly, our favorite boy Duck is still here! Duck is a 14 month old male neutered Golden Retriever Mix. He is full of energy and loves to cuddle. He can get nervous with new people but warms up quickly. If you're ready to have Duck be your new best friend, please contact Renton Police Animal Control to apply to adopt Duck!

A big thank you to Josie LaRosa - Windermere Real Estate for showcasing the recent adoption event at our Newcastle/Renton location! We’re thrilled to share that many cats and a few dogs found their forever families. However, many pets in our care are still looking for homes. 🏠 We will continue to spread awareness and advocate for the pets in our community in need of loving homes - please consider our Renton Animal Control “residents” when you or someone you know is on the hunt for their next furry companion! 🐱🐶

📣 Only two more days until our “Home for the Holidays” adoption event! Here are a few more of the cute faces you can meet there:

1️⃣ DUCK - 1 year old / male
- Prefers wide open spaces, jumping into the water, and meeting new people on his own terms 🦆
- Young, energetic boy who may jump up to give a hug
- Less of a cuddler and more of a run around type of guy!

2️⃣ JAX - 2 year old / male
- 100% Good Dog - loves pets, treats and playing with toys 🧸
- Can jump really well and might even jump off you to show my excitement.
- Enjoys other dogs and might like a dog friend at home.
- Treat motivated and happy to show some tricks for a cookie.

3️⃣ COAL - 2 year old / male
- Food is my love language! I’ll gladly show you some of my tricks for a cookie or two.
- Easily excited around other dogs
- Working on leash manners but with routine and cookies I think I’ll get there.
- I also love car rides and would enjoy going on adventures with my new family 🚗
