Yes, we are happy to brush your dog's pearly white teeth.
Dog specific toothpaste with enzymes only.

"Take a Hike"
May 21, Sunday, 4:00 PM.

Please phone Timberline Pet Ranch Ranch to have your name and dog information added to the list. Invite your friends. If they need a dog to walk, there are foster/rescue dogs that would love to "take a hike". There will be a brief bit of information needed.
Dogs must be UTD on all vaccinations, be social, etc.

We will meet at Timberline Pet Ranch, on 11 Hwy.
Park in front of the building.
When everyone has arrived, there will be a brief meeting, with introductions, and discuss the use of the trail. We will work our way to the trails.

What is the purpose of the hiking club?
To get out and enjoy nature, while bonding with our dogs and having a great day with like-minded people.

Please join in the planning. Input is always needed. New locations, new trails, and new adventures.
How far is everyone is willing to travel to enjoy the day?
Dogs will remain on a leash for the duration of the hikes. Bring comfort items for them, such as water, first aid kit, a rug or towel for the to lay on when we take a break, treats/toy or anything that will help them enjoy the day.
Don't forget potty bags.

We have hike club shirts and dog gear available for purchase.

CALL YOUR CAT"S GROOMER and stay on a bath schedule!!!

Once a year shave down is actually inhumane.
So painful for the cat and the groomer.
Mats on a cat are like...................3 people taking a handful of hair on your head, with both hands, and pulling/ yanking 24/7.
Try to sleep, eat, WALK, rest, play, while pulling the skin taught and gripped with pain. Many times, this leaves bruising and tormented skin behind. And a cat may LASH OUT and be labeled aggressive for this behavior. Not his fault.

Cats are greasy French fries. Oil build up is cause of mats.
Friction areas, under the arm pits, belly, inner thighs and behind ears and the ruff are all friction areas where friction mats form.
Brushing only goes through the ends/top of the coat. A good comb will get down to the skin where mats start. Prevention is key. This includes a good degreasing bath, proper groom and home maintenance.

I am always available to "chat about cats" and their grooming needs.
