Just a reminder that we will be open back up for 24 hour care on the weekends. We will have Veterinarians here from 9am Friday mornings through 9pm on Monday evenings.

We will also have varied select days during the week where we will have Veterinarians on staff over night. Please call ahead during the week to make sure we are open after 9pm. We will still hospitalize non-critical pets during the week as we have been.

As a heads up, we will have Veterinarians on staff over night on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.

Quick read on how to protect your pets this holiday season.

Salt dough (made of flour, water and salt) is a cheap and easy way to craft during the holidays. Just remember to keep pets away from this dough. As its name suggests, salt dough has a LOT of salt 🧂 in it and can lead to unsteadiness, muscle tremors, and can be fatal for pets. 💀

If you are looking for a safer alternative, buying clays like air dry clays that have the AP seal, which indicates they are safer, are the way to go. For these doughs, while some tummy upset may still occur if your pet accidently eats it, it should not be potentially fatal.
