I am thrilled to announce that our dear friend Catherine Marcks will be joining the team at Cooper's Run Stables in March as our barn manager. Catherine and I have worked as a team in one way or another for several years now and Iā€™m so happy to be combining forces in an official capacity - Catherineā€™s Desidera Farm will be relocating from Virginia to Pennsylvania in the coming months along with her breeding program and lovely stallion, Amazing. More details to come, but anyone who knows Catherine knows what an asset she will be to our operation as well as to the community as a wholeā€¦.and those who donā€™t know her will certainly agree once she is here šŸ™ I am so excited to work alongside such a knowledgeable, hard working, and compassionate individual and to have the yin to my yang back home ā¤ļø

While I, Robyn (as if you didnā€™t know who ran this page šŸ¤Ŗ), am honored to receive this award, much of the credit for the conservation efforts on our farm must go to our wonderful neighbors, the Berkowitzā€™s, and to Molly Sue Kinnamon. The Berkowitzā€™s were the ones who originally shared their knowledge of conservation initiatives via various organizations that could be implemented on the farm, and Molly coordinated with the experts to put plans in place. I have simply remained supportive of those plans after my family purchased the farm and have been lucky enough to see them actualize.

I care deeply about nature conservation and we are very lucky to have experts in the field working to improve the waterways in our community. Cooperā€™s Run, the main stream that runs through the property, makes our farm what it is. We are happy to do our part in protecting our waterways!

Happy Spring! ā˜€ļøšŸŒ· Iā€™m feeling so fortunate for our facility and the opportunities it provides for horses of all types, especially the young and greenā€¦.it is just perfect for improving the horsesā€™ confidence, strength, proprioception, and rideablity.

Have I mentioned how obsessed I am with my filly, Octavia? She is so specialā€¦good girl, Teddy šŸ¤—

Hi everyone - we're collecting items for goodie bags for our riders during the E4E clinics. If you're interested in donating something, please reach out to Sarah Dawson!

Hello everyone! We are reaching out to see who is interested in an awesome opportunity to contribute to a clinic series with a cause. The Equestrians for Equity (E4E) Clinic series, co-created by Dark Horse Design Studios, has clinicians coming to Cooper's Run Stables throughout the year in Kirkwood, PA. The trainers taking part are supporters of diversity, equity, and inclusion and we want to make goodie bags for each clinic filled with items from businesses that also support DEI. These can be coupons, gift certificates, or items from your business. If you donate we will give you a social media shout out, feature your logo in our publicity, and will happily hang your banners in the arena during the clinics if you provide them! The next clinician in this amazing series is USDF bronze and silver medalist Stacey Porter, the head trainer of SP Dressage.

All proceeds, after trainer fees, will go to Strides for Equality Equestrians, a non-profit organization that works to help BIPOC get better access to the equestrian community and educate those within the community on racism, allyship, and more.
Interested in contributing something for the goodie bags and showing your support for DEI in the equestrian community? Contact Sarah Dawson at [email protected].
