We’ll close off the final two Golden Ticket hours with one of Noble Hill Rescue’s biggest successes of the year.
Ted is a middle aged Belgian Draft who was going to be sold at New Holland Auction once he could no longer eat hay. Some caring people intervened and purchased Ted directly to surrender him to Noble Hill. We are so grateful they did that, he is the sweetest boy! Ted had carcinoma in his eyelid that was left untreated for years resulting in him needing to lose his right eyelids and eye in August. He did amazingly well transitioning to only having half his sight and he was the most wonderful patient during all the bandage changes and flushings of the wound. On a new diet for horses that can’t eat hay Ted quickly put on weight. We are filled with so much gratitude for all the people who have donated so we can care for these amazing horses who have fallen through the cracks.
