Yesterday we hosted Solanco Day of Service. Sara, a couple of volunteers and I had a wonderful day with a great group! This meant so much to all of us but especially Sara because she is an alumni of Solanco High School. They cleaned the barnyard, stalls, a room in the barn, helped move items to the run-in shed and brought some items back to the barn, made feed. Groomed horses, learned about herd mentality and used their horsemanship skills.

What a wonderful surprise! I went into Landhope on my way to the farm and I saw that Woerth it Hollow is the organization for the collection boxes when you check out during the month of November. Wednesday night veterans and volunteers class. Sara taught most of the class, some of our regulars discussed herd mentality, then I talked about some other key points, Noah supervised making the feed and Luke discussed the grooming tools. This engaging dialogue will cover everything from the experience of veterans overseas and at home, mental and physical health, and reintegration.
