The last morning disability class of the year πŸ’›
I’m really going to miss these classes until we start back up in the Spring, but thankfully we still have our evening lessons to look forward to. By December it just gets a little too cold for a 3-hour class outside!

Our wonderful volunteer joined me before class to give Honey Bunny some extra grooming time. 🐴✨
We had such a great class β€” everyone loved meeting Honey Bunny, then we got to work cleaning the shelving units, clearing cobwebs and dust, grooming Stella, and of course dressing her up in her Christmas outfit one more time. πŸŽ„πŸ΄

We wrapped up by making feed for tonight and tomorrow morning.
A full, fun, meaningful day with our Adult Enrichment Class. πŸ’›

We played the pasture shuffle today because we have a new horse at Woerth It Hollow! 🐴✨

Meet Honey Bunny β€” a 17-year-old Palomino Quarter Horse with the sweetest personality and a whole lot of golden charm. πŸ’›

Emma was just a little sad… she’s no longer the new girl in town πŸ˜‰ but we know she’ll warm up fast.

We can’t wait for our volunteers and participants to spend time with Honey Bunny and for all the adventures ahead.

They show up in the cold, in the heat, after long workdays, with full hearts and helping hands. They groom horses, prep feed, walk alongside participants, offer encouragement, and bring comfort simply by being here.

Their kindness creates a place where veterans feel supported, individuals with disabilities feel seen and capable, and our horses continue their own journey of healing and purpose.
