Thanks to the South Buffalo Township Police Department for partnering with us on a horse welfare check.

We also had a cat welfare check in Parker, PA. We are looking for a rescue that can assist with this case in getting the cats spayed, and hopefully, some of them placed. Please email [email protected] if you can help.

A busy day for your Armstrong County humane officers! Thanks to Pet Connections for taking 5 cats from one of our hoarding cases. ALSO: Southern Armstrong Regional Police Department for executing an arrest warrant on one of our cases. Orphans of the Storm for taking in two mother dogs and 11 tiny puppies. Butler Veterinarian Associates for making time to see this puppy … That Officer Susan Clark is fostering!

Thank you to Betsy Sanders and Jonica Sanders Schreiber, volunteers, sponsors, vendors and all who attended the Belmont Dog Swim on August 24, 2024 at the Belmont Complex located at 415 Butler Road, Kittanning. This was the first fundraiser anyone has had for our organization to support Armstrong County's volunteer Humane Police Officers. The event also benefited another very worthy organization -- Warrier Canine Connections. Betsy reported this was their best dog swim yet ... over 80 dogs doggie paddled their way to a fun day!

An interesting day for Officers O'Donnell and Clark today. Had the chance to meet a few reptiles and learn more about them!
