After being in a shelter for 228 days, Buster is still looking for his forever.
Our gentle giant (shown here playing with his little friend, Trey) is looking for a home that understands that the world can be a little scary for Buster. Things like loud vehicles, busy streets, and strangers are all new to him.
Unfortunately, as he was picked up as a stray in Mississippi, only Buster knows what his past life entailed and why he may find the world a little overwhelming. While he can’t tell us his story, we have learned a few things about Buster in his time here. Primarily that he is a total sweetheart! Once he bonds with you, he’s all yours. He LOVES love and will lean all 77lbs of himself into you so he can soak up all the affection you have to give him! He also has a goofy, playful side that’s best seen when other dogs are around. His favorite part of the day is when he gets to play with our other adoptable dogs!
Buster would likely prefer a quieter home that will understand his insecurities and give him the time and patience he needs to bloom into the great dog we all know he is.
