Red Sky Ranch Aussies ASCA and AKC registered Standard Australian Shepherds. We're in Prescott, Arizona with our pack until 2023 when we'll head back to Klamath Falls.

We'll also be offering this pretty three year old ASCA Duke & Cisco daughter, Queenie. This is difficult for us, as she's a favorite we kept back for when our beloved Cisco retired. But, as we've mentioned, we need to make some changes to make everything more workable going forward. Queenie is happy and sweet, loves hikes and adventure😆, gets along well with other dogs. I really kind of love this photo because it shows how determined Bailey and Brad were to make this trip to take Dena home. They had over a 5 hour drive up from NorCal and arrived after 8 pm! If I was going to let this darling girl go, this is how I wanted it to be - to a family that would go to a lot of effort to welcome her into their family. Goodbye sweet girl, I know you're in good hands. Congratulations Brad, Bailey & Dena!!

It turns out Dena is the one feeling kind of lost and alone tonight, because Darly went home today! Brenda and Jay came up and took Concho (who is now Blue) home a couple weeks ago and then Brenda decided to come back for a pup of her very own. Darly, who's usually pretty lively, laid right down on the picnic table and laid her head on Brenda's arm pretty much the whole time we talked. It was very cool to see 💖 Congratulations Brenda and Darly!

So...I had to make an adult choice and I'm telling you, it wasn't easy. I don't know how you all do it all the time 😅 This adorable little punk is going to California on Monday and this WILL be a tough goodbye. I really was hoping Dena could stay here. But if we're going to stick to our guns on simplifying our life, it's just not the right time to add a puppy. This will leave Darly all alone after Monday and I hope not for long, because she'll be a little lost too without her sassy sidekick.

Well, Dani (now Athena) doesn't look like she's missing us much. Look at her already getting away with murder up on the couch! And she has two great new buddies to romp with (the red merle on the left is a Dolly/Duke baby ❤) when she's not being loved on by Sydney and Novak. Wish I could post the videos they've sent - she's loving her new life! Congrats Sydney, Novak, and Athena!!

This is our last full day with Dani and I have to say, I'm really going to miss her. She's a smart, savvy pup with a lot going on in that pretty head. I think it gets a little harder to say goodbye when pups stay a couple extra weeks - that's when you really start to get to know them. I know she's going to be well loved in her new home, though.

A few random shots from yesterday. Dena and Darly are favorite playmates and so fun to watch. Dani's a little more thoughtful and observant - more pictures of her to come, she's a pretty girl. Good daddy Duke checks on the pups often. He leans onto the fence and rubs along the length of it, I guess to make sure any scary critters on the other side know that he's around. What a gem ❤

How on earth is this little cutie still waiting? Darly has such a cute mug and she's super-black, with cool almost blonde tone tan markings. She's a sweet softie playing with us, but she's got plenty of s***k and is kind of a spitfire when playing with the other puppies! She's going to be a beautiful girl and she's so ready to be someone's one and only. We'll be delivering Dani to Eugene in the coming week - anyone need us to bring Darly along too??

We've just been saying goodbye to babies left and right. Michele and Vance met us in Bend to take Dillon home this weekend. His new black tri comrade here is "Bob", so it seems Dillon may more or less keep his name, but will become "Dylan" 😆 Gonna be fun to watch this guy grow - hope I get lots of update pictures. Congrats Michele and Vance!

Another great day! Sweet Dolly/Duke boy Concho got to go home with Jay and Brenda to live on a nice big country place. His new buddy, blue heeler Roxy (Rox for short), seemed to think he was OK right off the bat and I can already picture all the fun they'll have together. He's such a good boy and I couldn't be happier for him. Congrats Jay & Brenda!

A whole lot of happy happened yesterday! First we met up in Crescent with Megan and Chris to send Dawson home to a perfect Aussie farm life in the heart of beautiful Oregon wine country. Then we met Erik and Kate in Bend to send Lulu to another perfect Aussie life, outdoor adventures in the middle of an outdoor wonderland. You can see her there in her crate, very unsure about what's up, but in a week she'll be settled in and hitting the nearby trails with her family, so happy she'll barely remember us! Dawson, not having formed any strong attachments yet, was immediately smitten with Megan and Chris. Altogether a wonderful day and, I have to say, not having been in Bend in years - boy, I get it, that is one awesome place. Congratulations guys, especially Dawson and Lulu - big fun ahead for all!!

Dillon is just about an angelic puppy. Zero complaints for his bath and then draped over my thigh for at least a half hour while I painstakingly brushed all the little sticker balls out of his coat, with his head laid down on my left arm the whole time. LOVE his disposition! He's a sweetheart to the other puppies, too. Loves to play, but never gets too rough. He's going to be a truly exceptional family dog. And his coloring - WOW!

Dillon and Darly got to play on the new grass today and boy, did they love it! Most of my pictures were them tumbling around wrestling. Everybody loves green grass, especially in these dog days of summer. That was our big job last weekend, putting in 3300 square feet of sod. Even the rabbits and deer are circling outside the fence 😆 We're giving it a little time to take hold before much traffic, but all the dogs and pups are getting some yard time and it's just a lot of fun to see how happy they are on it. *** DAWSON IS RESERVED - CONGRATS MEGAN & FAMILY! *** Dawson is the next smallest puppy in this litter after shrimpy little Dena. But, he's teenager Concho's best playmate. They just have a blast together. Maybe I'll try to get some shots of their antics this afternoon, after I find the time to get all the weedy little velcro balls out of their coats, too. Poor babes, that can't be comfortable. Dawson is still waiting to hear when he gets his own fam ❤
