August 15th is "Check the Chip day." Do you know the importance of microchipping your pet(s)? Did you know that having a microchip doubles the chance of your lost dog being returned home and increases your cat’s chance of making it home more than 20-fold. If your pet is not currently microchipped please call us to schedule microchipping your pet(s). Also a friendly reminder to those owners whose pets are microchipped to make sure they are updated with your current information and showing in the manufactor's database. AAHA’s Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool (http://www.petmicrochiplookup.org/) is linked to the registries of the majority of microchip manufacturers and allows a quick database search of any microchip made by these manufacturers.
