Hard to believe its been a year since I almost died, was hospitalized and my life here restarted. Recovery was slow and awkward and confusing and I just wanted to send a huge Thank you and Bless you to all my wonderful clients that stuck by me and helped me with my recovery, it means more to me than you can imagine. Did you know that 4th of July is the day of the year with the most lost dog reports due to fireworks? Scared dogs will often escape enclosures or bolt due to the frightening sounds. To prevent your dog from getting lost this holiday, please keep them on a leash when outside, and indoors as much as possible during the night. For those extra anxious pups, you can pick up some calming treats at most stores that carry dog items.

The best way to ensure your dog is reunited in case they do get lost, is to make sure your contact information is physically on them in some way. If your dog is microchipped, make sure the registration is active and that your contact information is updated. Otherwise, you can see an example of three different ways to have your phone number on your dog's collars below. You can use a classic tag, tape, or use a permanent marker to write it directly onto the collar either on the outside or inside.

If your dog gets lost and you need to make a lost report with the shelter outside of operating hours, please message our Facebook or leave a voicemail message. Make sure to include a physical description, the area or address they went missing from, and the best phone number to reach you at.

Does anyone use these (or know anyone who does?) I get so many from the pharmacy, they don’t take them back and the vet I def to use no longer takes them for her clients. I just hate throwing them away.

Anyone know anyplace (or anyone) who repairs broken screens on iPads, I had a dog destroy my front counter area when her mom came in trying to climb into her mothers arms from the opposite side of the barrier. (including my iPad that runs the sale/credit card portion of this business) any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Just so everyone who has appointments booked in the next few weeks is aware, my father passed away today. He was living in Florida and arrangements are being made. I am not sure what happens now but I may be out of town to help with arrangements regarding his belongings. I will let whoever is affected by this know as soon as possible and have peoples puppies taken care of at the best time possible. Thank you so much for understanding.
