Mason is doing great in his weight loss program! This sweet boy comes to Ultimutt 2x weekly for daycare and while he is here, gets a good workout in the fitness center. Mason has a varied exercise routine that consists of walking in the underwater treadmill (with his toy of course), running on the dry treadmill, swimming in our outdoor pool, and working his muscles on the FitPAWS strength equipment. His family has been very pleased with not only his weight loss, but also reports he is much calmer at home on his fitness days. Two 🐾 up for Mason!

How would you like it if someone pinched your nostrils and forced you to breathe through your mouth all day?

This picture shows what the nose looks like for a brachycephalic breed (“smushed face”). Common issues are difficulty breathing, snorting, exercise intolerance, blue gums due to lack of oxygen, and passing out (just to name a few).
