It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mari DeCuir, a beloved member of the Knoxville community. For over two decades, Mari dedicated herself to helping countless dogs and the people who loved them through her work with Smoky Mountains Bulldog Rescue. Her unwavering kindness and compassion for both animals and humans never went unnoticed and left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

As a client at Central Vet with SMBR for almost 20 years, Mari’s passion for helping to rescue and care for bulldogs inspired all of us. Her selflessness and tireless work made a difference in so many lives, and her memory will continue to live on through the lives she touched.

Mari’s legacy of love and dedication will remain a guiding light for us all. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and the entire SMBR community. Rest in peace, Mari—you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Please keep this in mind as we begin to gather around the tables today. You should also avoid giving your pets table scraps as this can cause many GI issues and could even lead to pancreatitis!

As we gear up for the holiday season, let's remember that the holiday season isn't just about food, family, and fun—it's also about keeping our furry friends safe! 🐶🐱

Check out this handy flyer to know what fruits and veggies your pets can and can't eat this time of year. Please note that even safe foods should be given in moderation and should not replace your pet's regular diet

If you are unsure if your pet can eat a certain food (or even a certain part of a food), give one of our 3 locations a call!
