Hey everyone! I've got two really nice mares who are looking for new homes! 🏠
1. Ruby
- 13.3 hh 7 yr old chestnut mare from Sulphur Utah
- easy keeper, gets fat off air
- we are really only selling becuase she is too small for us to ride
- she is a pull her out of the field and go type mare, ready to work
- she doesn't really need too much consistency
- knows her basic groundwork
- awesome on trails!
- she'd be a great step up horse for a youth who knows how to ride or for an intermediate rider
- no vices except for a perpetual mare face, even though she's actually such a sweet girl 😆
2. Ember
- 3 yr old palomino mare (haven't measured her recently)
- also an easy keeper
- still pretty green undersaddle and needs more confidence
- also needs a little more consistency than I can give her right now
- she walk/trot/lopes really well, she just hasn't really been exposed out of the arena or roundpen
- awesome with her groundwork, she picked up a little liberty very naturally too!
- no vices at all she is so super sweet! She is super smart and sensitive!
- she can be a bit cold backed and buck a little when you first lunge her, but she settles down really nicely after and I've never had problems on her
‼️Note: I currently ride her in a bosal, she'd be fine in a sidepull as well. She has been introduced *only to a bit, but if your really interested in her, I do not mind working with her on the bit more if you'd like‼️
Both of these mares are amazing and have a bunch of potential! There is nothing wrong with either of them. Both can hop on a trailer in a moments notice and are good for saddling, farrier, baths, etc. Both have really good manners, easy to pull out of the pasture, etc. Both are fine in any fencing. Both are good in cross ties.
Both are BLM mustang mares, located in East TN (Knoxville), Ember will need a BLM approved home, and so will Ruby, but she will also be getting a title sometime soon.
