Hey everyone! I've got two really nice mares who are looking for new homes! 🏠

1. Ruby
- 13.3 hh 7 yr old chestnut mare from Sulphur Utah
- easy keeper, gets fat off air
- we are really only selling becuase she is too small for us to ride
- she is a pull her out of the field and go type mare, ready to work
- she doesn't really need too much consistency
- knows her basic groundwork
- awesome on trails!
- she'd be a great step up horse for a youth who knows how to ride or for an intermediate rider
- no vices except for a perpetual mare face, even though she's actually such a sweet girl 😆

2. Ember
- 3 yr old palomino mare (haven't measured her recently)
- also an easy keeper
- still pretty green undersaddle and needs more confidence
- also needs a little more consistency than I can give her right now
- she walk/trot/lopes really well, she just hasn't really been exposed out of the arena or roundpen
- awesome with her groundwork, she picked up a little liberty very naturally too!
- no vices at all she is so super sweet! She is super smart and sensitive!
- she can be a bit cold backed and buck a little when you first lunge her, but she settles down really nicely after and I've never had problems on her
‼️Note: I currently ride her in a bosal, she'd be fine in a sidepull as well. She has been introduced *only to a bit, but if your really interested in her, I do not mind working with her on the bit more if you'd like‼️

Both of these mares are amazing and have a bunch of potential! There is nothing wrong with either of them. Both can hop on a trailer in a moments notice and are good for saddling, farrier, baths, etc. Both have really good manners, easy to pull out of the pasture, etc. Both are fine in any fencing. Both are good in cross ties.

Both are BLM mustang mares, located in East TN (Knoxville), Ember will need a BLM approved home, and so will Ruby, but she will also be getting a title sometime soon.

Keep a close eye on this!

Ember had a trim today! She was super patient even though I'm definitely not the best farrier!
We happen to adore our farrier, and believe that they should not have to train your horse FOR you. Therefore, even though we are not professional farriers, we ALWAYS make sure that our new or in-training horses can stand very quietly to be trimmed or shoed. Yes, this means that often we end up doing the first trim ourselves, and no, the trim is not always perfect! But if you love your farrier as much as we do, we recommend you make sure your horse can behave for their hoof care.
Don't mind our makeshift training stand. 😆

Can't beat a sunset ride on a good horse. 🩷
And we had our first lopes undersaddle today, which couldn't have gone any better!
Oh and I measured her today, she is currently 13.3 hh and string tests to 14.1 hh.

Desert Ruby

Still available due to no fault of her own! ❤️

I know this girl had been off/on available for a while, but now that she's back into work, she is more than ready to find a new home!

Available through BLM reassignment, so she will need a BLM approved application.

Ruby
- 7 yr old chestnut mustang mare from Sulphur, UT (SHORT - 13.2 hh)
- currently located in East TN
- pm for 🥕s (low 4 figures)
- easy keeper!
- nice little mover
- green broke undersaddle (walk/trot/lope/backup)
- good to load, farrier work, baths, etc
- has basic groundwork (yield hindquarters, etc)
- lunges & round pens
- can go trail riding
- really just needs finishing/miles undersaddle
- all business type mare, ready to work

She's gritty and has the heart to go all day long. If you are looking for a nice little horse to hop on and go to the feedlot with, move cows, go trail riding, this is your girl! She's athletic and catty. She has never seen cows (not her fault), but don't let that steer you away, becuase she sure does have the personality to move them around.

Thought I should finally introduce this pretty filly!

Meet Ember! She is a 2 yr old palomino from Triple B NV. Ember is super sweet and even though I haven't had her hor long, I am in love! 🩷 I need to measure her but I don't think she'll end up too short. 😆

She was "sort of" gentled when we picked her up, but still wasn't very halter broke etc. Sloan and her student did a wonderful job acclimating her to people though!

She already LOVES water and her baths! She is super soft in her halter. Comes to me in the field, lunges, has been "ridden" twice already! Worn a saddle, without it cinched though.

Her first "ride" was actually really funny becuase at first I was just laying across and got a funny urge to just get on, so I did, and then we walked around the stall like she'd been doing that for forever. Definitely isn't my preferred method of starting horses undersaddle but I'm glad I listened to my gut becuase that was an incredible, magical feeling for her to put so much trust into me. ❤️

Thankyou to Sloan Adams for sharing this sweet girl with me. I am excited to continue her training and see where she ends up!

Sadly this girl will be A-vailable for rehoming through the BLM after she is started undersaddle. I will absolutely hate to see her go, but she just has too much potential as a show horse prospect for her to just sit with me through college. But don't worry, I'm sure I'll still have at least a few more months with her before she's ready (or I'm ready 😆)! 🤞

But with that being said, if your looking for a potential ranch/western horse (or maybe even english) show prospect, here she is! This girl can MOVE! 🤩

I'm sure somebody needs on my feed needs a good minded QH filly! These girls will turn heads wherever you go, be it the show pen or trail. Very versatile bloodlines. They come from a ranching heritage breeder too, so I'm sure they are eligible for those payout classes! If your interested, make sure to contact them and let them know Morgan Lakey/Running in Faith Horsemanship sent you! They won't last long!

I feel a tad guilty posting this after so long and not keeping up with Foxy's updates, but... this little guy is here!

Meet Maverick ("Maverick N Wrangler" as his registered name)!

He has no trouble keeping us, his mom, and everyone else entertained. 😆

He is a dun, almost identical to his mom, but with a tiny star.

He was born April 18th, in the middle of the night. Foxy had a very easy time, with no struggle, however, Maverick had a little trouble at first learning how to get his mom's milk. Thankfully, our vet was able to come out and tube him and after a good nap he was able to figure it out.

He clearly hasn't missed a meal since. 😂 He has a great hip on him!

Warning, super nasty lice pictures...
Hey yall! I'm sharing this to hopefully remind everyone with critters (horses, cows, donkeys, dogs, etc.) to always check for the unexpected!
Mr. Teddy here was showing signs of a bunch of itching as discomfort lately, and he had a super (SUPER) thick and fluffy donkey coat. So, I go to check him for any skin issues, maybe rain rot, something fungal. Yes, I peeled back his hair, looked him up and down, and NEVER saw any little lice. Well, I figured since he wasn't shedding and he was itchy, and I couldn't find anything else on him anywhere, that I was just gonna clip him since he was finally getting nice and warm enough.

And poor guy, it was only after I started shaving him, that I found LICE everywhere on this poor donkey!! I'll say I don't get grossed out by much, but my sister had to finish shaving him... it was that bad. We feel terrible for not catching this earlier! Lice is something we have only dealt with 1 other time in our horses, so I was shocked to find out that was what he had.
So, let this be your reminder to go out and check your animals‼️ Especially with their long, fluffy winter coats still on, where the lice can hide, and hide well. If you even think they have come in contact, or they might have it, just go ahead and treat them. And remember, it can also spread through brushes and other equipment, so be careful if your horses share stuff.
Yes, everyone else in contact with Teddy also got treated. Brushes and a halter was also set aside for just him.

🔥 Phoenix Rising ‍🔥

Looking for a horse anyone can ride!? Here she is!! Beginner friendly.

5 yr old, 14 hh, Chestnut Mustang Mare
From Salt Wells, WY
Currently located in East TN
Sale Authority 😉
Does NOT need BLM application

This sweet girl is a lesson pony special! She isn't very fancy broke (not her fault, we just didn't stick a ton of buttons on her) but SAFE! Phoenix has a very "been there, don't care" personality, which we really value when searching for lesson horses. She'll tote you safely around a little local show no problem! Or if your not looking for a lesson pony, she'll gladly go on a fun trail ride! She's been all over the Smokey mountains, creeks, pavement, etc. She has all the basic groundwork, however I don't think she will be winning many showmanship classes. 😆 Take her out of the pasture after 3 months, and she will be the same horse.

Does well for farrier, stands tied or cross tied, quiet about saddling, trailers well!

Please PM Running in Faith Horsemanship or Morgan Lakey if your interested or you would like more information about her. 😊
