Redemption Ranch & Recovery is a 501c3 nonprofit horse rescue located in South Knoxville TN close to Seymour TN. We take in equines from many different situations. When you look into the eyes of a horse at an auction you see nothing but confusion and sadness. Most of these horses were cared for at some point in their life then went through multiple hands only to end up at an auction. At these auct

ions you have what most people refer to as "kill buyers". They bid on horses and if they win, they are loaded on a truck and sent to Mexico or Canada to be slaughtered then distributed for human consumption. *Not all horses from auctions go to kill buyers** but a lot do. * That is why we choose to rescue from auctions.


*We also take in owner surrenders due to unforeseen circumstances, or from kill pens. No matter where a horse comes from it deserves a second chance! The godly always care for their animals, but the wicked are always cruel. Proverbs 12:10 NL
