Hi friends! My name is Pork Chop and I’m two months old. I am full of kitten energy, but I am always ready to cuddle! My eye was pretty gross when they found me, but my foster momma gave me meds and I’m all better now. My eye will always be a little cloudy but it doesn’t slow me down! I grew up in a house full of activity, so I’m used to other cats, kids and dogs too. Wouldn’t I be perfect for you? Apply to adopt me at feralfelinefriends.org!

Eight-month-old Little Lisa was having a tough time in her foster home where another feline was picking on her. Her foster momma decided to give her a shot at Scruffy’s Cafe, and we’re preeeeetty sure she’s enjoying herself. 👩‍🍳😂 Little Lisa may be petite, but she’s got a big personality packed into that tiny frame. She’s got an independent streak that she shows off once she gets comfortable in her home, but she’s also never going to turn away a good cuddle session. Little Lisa may be having a blast at Scruffy’s with the other FFF felines there, but she’d sure like to pack up her catnip toys and head off to her forever home. If you’re interested in adopting Little Lisa, check out our online adoption application at feralfelinefriends.org!

!!!CATS FOR HIRE!!!

Did you know that FFF has a barn cat program? It’s true - we do! What’s a barn cat? We sometimes run across cats that aren’t interested in the indoor life and would rather spend their days working. These cats use their natural instincts to help control rodent populations and prevent other pests from moving in on your territory. Cats are the safest way to provide pest control without the use of traps or pesticides making your home safer for kids and other pets! And the best part - you’re also helping your community by providing a much needed home to an otherwise homeless cat. Do you have a barn or outdoor area that could use some environmentally safe pest control? If so, send us an email to [email protected] or send us a PM through our socials. We’ll get some info over to you about our program. We provide everything including spayed/neutered, vaccinated cats - you just provide food, water and shelter. Help us put more cats to work!

Three-month-old Joey was a tiny little guy who was the only tame-ish kitten in a fairly large feral colony, but he still was not quite sure about humans. He had a really bad cold which caused him to lose his appetite and get really skinny. His trappers talked him into going with them (aka they trapped him) so he could get some good medicine and some good food. You would never know he used to be so puny! While he was recovering in his foster home, he decided the indoor life and humans weren’t so bad and he wanted to stick around! Now he’s all healed up, and he’s turned into quite a handsome, talented boy like his namesake, University of Tennessee, Knoxville QB joeyaguilar_4! Joey (the kitten) will be making his Petsmart adoption event debut TOMORROW from 10-5, but why wait until then? Apply now to adopt him at feralfelinefriends.org!

Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals

Mission: Our mission is to protect the welfare of cats, and to promote the humane treatment and well-being of these animals by providing a humane/cost effective alternative to euthanasia through TNR, ongoing managed care of cats, and the adoption of tame cats/kittens, through our home based foster care program and PetSmart adoption fairs. This decreases the number of cats that are euthanized at our local Animal Shelters every year. Mentor on how to trap cats, Provide information on no-cost and low-cost spay/neuter agencies Promote community awareness of the responsible care and treatment of animals. Educate the public regarding the plight of stray/feral cats, and the need to spay/neuter and microchip pets. Support feral cat caretakers and gain recognition of the beneficial role they perform. Assist the public with trap-neuter-return for stray and free roaming cats.

Target demographics: TNRF feral/stray/community cats , rehoming the tame cats/kittens to loving homes
