Good morning Everyone!

This is Tara Johnson, proud owner of Dogwood, Grooming Spa.

There was a situation that occurred Monday of August 28th with some new customers. One of the things I’ve learned with been in business for 20 plus years is when something goes wrong. In any situation, I’ve learned it better to standstill, before we speak. As The Dogwood family. We first have to put our paws firmly to the ground, and pull up our bootstraps, to see if there was any negligence on our part. We salute truth and honesty. Although we are not a perfect business, things do happen…. Even if it may hurt us as a business. It’s just better on our conscience. We have consumers looking on, and we know what that means for us/them. We always make sure that we respond to the situation in a Professional and Peaceful manner.

I immediately, reached out to the family. While my son and daughter got in their cars and went searching for the beagles. To let them know what had taken place. We made every effort, to continuously communicate with the family willing to work as a team to bring their fur babies home. We were absolutely ecstatic to learned that their dogs are home. Ms Jaimie rudely continuously told me to stop talking when on the phone smhsmh. This situation have had our hearts, so heavy and stress.

We truly did not want to comment bringing too much on this matter, because we know that we have cameras footage of our gates never being left opened. Both of our gates was shut and secured. Also Camera footage of the whole conversation that morning with Mr Abbasi. Who never gave strict instructions to my daughter about keeping their beagle crated or in our spa. My daughter researched learning that they have made many post since 2022 with this being a common common behavior, for Layla and Watson, to run all over Holston hills area. (Why would they absolutely not tell us this)

We were not gonna let this family take us out of our character. As we have a reputation to uphold 🙌🏽 we have been told numerous of times that we come highly rated in the Holston Hills community, how truly grateful we are 🙏🏽We’ve worked so hard building an outstanding family business. Always treating others as we want to be treated. Why in the world would this family slender our business name with lies/untruths. Mr Abbasi gave us a one star review and said they don’t recommend us smh. And were good with that…!THE DOGWOOD FAMILY Reputation and character speak for itself ❤️🐾🐩

We pray and hope, while recommending, they don’t do this to any other grooming business.
