Kansas City area veterinarians are reporting a spike in a disease threatening dogs that can also spread to humans called leptospirosis.

Hello everyone! This is Ruby, and she is looking for a new forever home at no fault of her own. Her current owner is struggling to care for her due to worsening side effects from a stroke. She is a 6 year old heeler/corgi mix, so she LOVES to run around. However, she can also be a lazy couch potato. She enjoys walks and belly rubs the most. She will do best as either an only dog or with older dogs, and with older children so she can have her space when needed. She is also up to date on vaccines and prevention.
