If you have been in the clinic within the last few weeks you may have seen our monarch caterpillars. We are happy to announce they we have successfully released 3 beautiful butterflies this week. We have one more to go that should emerge from its crysalis today.

Just a reminder❗️We are closed on Friday, July 4th but will be back to normal hours Saturday, July 5th.
Bonus July 4th tip‼️ Make sure your pet’s identification tags and collars are on just in case they are spooked from fireworks. It also helps to give them a dark, quiet, cave-like place to hide to feel safe. Try turning on the TV or white noise machines to drown out any booms from outside.

Also, if you need a medication refilled, please give 24 hours notice.

It is HOT outside! Be sure to keep a close eye out for heat exhasution in your pets to prevent it from turning into heat stroke.
Typical signs of heat stroke are excessive panting, lethargy, weakness, excessive drooling, hot to the touch, and confusion or disorientation. To prevent this from happening, be sure that your pet has access to shade and cool water.
It also helps to limit outdoor playtime or walks to early morning or late evening when the temperatures are less extreme.
Brachycephalic (flat-nosed), overweight, elderly, or dogs with heart or lung conductions are more susceptible to heat stroke.
Please take the proper precautions and stay cool! 😎 🌴

As of right now, we have a few employees who have made it in. They will be able to answer phones and do what they can, but there won’t be any doctor appointments. Give us a call before you try heading our way!

We will be closing at 2pm today for the safety of our staff and clients. If you have an appointment on Saturday, be sure to call first in case we need to close tomorrow as well. We will try to keep our Facebook updated.
